is it us or just fab in general

we are finding it harder and harder to find meets on here of late we don’t have a huge friends list but generally want to meet all that are on it

but we have had people add us saying they are interested in meeting sometime and when it comes down to it they don’t reply or send us a snotty message back when we ask the question

(we see be your status your still looking we where wondering if you are interested in meeting us as we have not heard back)

now we are not pushy people at all we just like to know and when we have sent a message saying we are free it would be nice to get a thanks but no thanks back then we know where we stand

don’t know if anyone else has any problems like this or is it us and generally something that we are doing wrong

I don't pay much attention to the friends list. I've never sent anyone a friend request because if I'm serious about meeting them I would rather send them a message.

It's a bit like Facebook. Its amazing how many friends some people have on there, but they don't even speak with most of them!

I only have about 6 or 8 on my friends list and they are true friends I've made thru swinging, anyone else can sit on my hotlist. It helps prevent timewasters and pic collectors

Personally I found the earlier part of this year extremely easy to find ladies on here to chat to and get meets, but as of around June the well seemed to dry up almost entirely.

We accepted invites like crazy when we first joined. It took us a whole week to filter through it when we started looking to start having proper meets. Since then we now only keep people on our list who we have either met and enjoyed the company of; or people we honestly believe we'll meet in the future and will like.

With Rach having a year abroad and us barely being on here; anyone who's not gotten rid of us after a year must be determined enough to deserve their place :P

i do not send friend invites.

in fact i get people sending them to me which i think is nice.

the ones i have on my friends list at present i would love to meet as they are lovely people.

but to answer your question yes it is harder to get meets.people are more picky than they were and i dont blame them for that.

If people have indicated in the past they may be willing to meet then send a snotty reply then yes, that is a bit off really, particularly if your approach has been polite.

A lot of people pn here seem to be here to boost their own ego (yes i know there are 100s of genuine ones too before anyone bitesy head off) and they agree to meet with no intention of doing so.

As for your friemds list, some use it solely to view private galleries, again not with any inyention of meeting. IMHO

I have 13 on my friends list....ooohh unlucky (either someone has to go, or I need to add one) lol, some I've met. Usually they send a request because they want to meet me, then I find they really don't

we only started swinging this year, a slow start, had a couple of meets, w get a lot of attention from our pics and winks and friend request's but when it come's down to it, like you say you message people on your friends list and you don't even get a reply so eventually you delete off your friends list, a couple of weeks go by and hey you receive a friend invite of the ignorant people that could not reply to your messages before, are they stupid or what........ so yes we seem to struggle with meets too lol

but its a few things that hinder us

work,money kids and that free time or lack of it

We use our friend list to keep up to date with their status and hopefully they do the same for ours .

But yes it does seem there are more and more folk who seem never to want to meet - hence our preference for clubs

I've had the same problem as the OP. When I try to get a meet they either prevaricate or don't even bother replying, so I delete them from my friends list. Its amazing how many will then ask 'why am I not on your friends list?'

I suppose for some members the friends list is just that - friends. But for me it is people I have met and liked (so they stay on) or potential meets. If no meet occurs, then why keep them on?

We have had this a couple of times. All up for it then suddenly nothing.

No-one will know why except them. Just block 'em and forget it. Agreed it is irritating though

The worst offenders in my mind are those who make plans to meet and then a few weeks b4 just disappear. Think the site needs a name and shame list!
