Nerves before a meet makenit hard to meet

Does anyone else struggle with their nerves before a meet or even planning one when they know they want to? Always up for fun but most nights my nerves get the better of me. Then when we meet and go at it I'm so comfortable and happy. It's so annoying lol I'd do it every night if it wasn't for the nerves.

It's like waiting backstage before going out to perform, that's when the nerves are always worst, once you start performing all the nerves go away.
