I'm (Mr) actually quite physically active so it annoys me that I just cannot shift my dadbod, but my job is a bit sedentary, and I'm a big foodie, so.....
Keeping an eye on this thread though haha |

As you can see from profile pic. I have a dad bod but I'm working on it. I love food but am changing the amount I eat and upping the exercise. Hopefully in 6 months I'd like to have dropped another stone and toned up a bit. But it's bloody hard work at my age. |

"I absolutely love a dad bod “real man”
My other half is the sexiest guy I’m so damn lucky and when I play with others it’s dad bod all the way !!!"
Can we stop with the real man/real woman nonsense! Being bigger doesn’t make you more ‘real’. |

I've got a bod. I'm a dad of 3 amazing kids. I weigh 15kg more than I did when I was 20,and most of that is round my middle. But I play sport or work out 3 times a week as I want to be as healthy as I can be. Does this count? |

My build has always been the same. Even years younger years when I was in a job that was very physical and fitness was a big part of the daily routine. Back then I was very fit (playing a lot of sport too) but my body still told the tale of a man who also loves ale, fine foods and some lifes other decadent pleasures. To be fair I've always been happy with my body. Put a bit more on in later years as my employment is a less extreme these days, but likewise I'm happy.

I think what she's driving at is some men can hide behind their physical looks, rather than develop personalities.
I guess everyone can have a facade we want to project to the world. But it is curious how people can be vilified for working hard to be fit and healthy..

Lol not brutal just true! I see it more and more on here.
Obese or overweight=real which insinuates that those of us that are slim are fake or not real. It’s ridiculous. Same goes for the hijacking of the term curvy! Curvy is a shape not a size! |

I guess it depends on your perception of “dad bod”. Mrs likes gents with large, firm arms and thighs. And with a bit of weight on their torso. Don’t have to be ripped and gym fit. guys who are painfully thin or hugely overweight are not usually her preference. |

I'm a fan of a nice dad bod (not particularly older though). My husband is rocking an excellent one
I think people who are comfortable in their own skin are sexy, confidence (not arrogance) is attractive.

It is very annoying, we are all "real" people!
We both exercise regularly, but also enjoy food, so if they are the kind of person who gets hung up on body types they should probably pass us by, same with profiles that bang on about looking for or being VWE.
We are look to meet people, not body parts!
