Height is a pretty important factor for me since I’m 5ft11 myself. But do you think you can trust the height given on profiles or do guys embellish that? |

There is definately a fabrication of height on fab.
Lincs in heels is about 5ft10 and therefore wants a taller gent to feel sexy next to.
We found the height of 5ft11 to be the height of greyness. Anyone who states this is not telling the truth! Just our experience I accept.
It led us to have a minimum height of 6ft. To try and limit this particular issue |

I’m 5’11 too and have a height preference stated on my profile (mainly for logistical reasons) …. But do find that guys message me saying they're such and such a height … which is an inch or two more than what the profile says!!!  whyyyyy?? |

I suppose that I have lied about my height but not intentionally, I'm fairly average so guessed that I'm 5'9", three reasons for this guestimation
1: at the time I joined Fab it was the national average.
2: I cannot remember the last time I was measured.
3: it's a good number when said in inches.

Yep, met a fair few guys for socials claiming to be 5'10 and I've been taller or the same height as them wearing flat shoes (I'm 5'7")...

Understand it's important for some people, but can honestly say I don't think we've ever even looked at the height stayed on any profile.
We have had a few whacked heads when the taller guys are walking through our 200 year old house, though

Have I met countless people that get it wrong, oh yes.
Best was a tailor telling me he was 6'5" like me, as I stared down at the top of his head. He was 5'10" at the absolute most.
Suffice to say I left quick sharp given his understanding of inches haha. |

Fab heights is actually a thing. Men over 6ft might fab themselves up by an inch anyone over that won’t fab themselves up. The majority of short arses fab themselves up two to three sometimes four inches. They fab up to at least 5ft 9 as they see that as a respectable height
I’m only 5ft 7 and have decided to fab up to 5ft 11.5 but have only put 5ft 11 on here as don’t wanna take the piss like  |

Height isn't important to me so I don't really look at it on profiles so no idea if people I've met are the height they had stated or not.
I've met a few people, male and female, who have not been entirely honest about other things though so I'd say there is a strong likelihood that some lie about their height as well. |

I always use 6ft as it's the easiest box to tick. Actually I am 5 ft 11 & 3/4 but in my Chelsea boots I'm 6ft 1. If I wear my terminator boots or cowboy boots about 6 ft 2 but I wouldn't wear them on a meet . Does that help ? |
