So just been chatting to some guy, and he wanted mobile number and upgrade code to verify?

Any valid reason? Or just a scam?

What do you mean verify?

If you talked on Web cam then that's all he needs. If you met in the flesh, that's all he needs.

If youre just messaging.. scam.

Sounds weird... Presumably so they can state it didn't work and request a refund/new code? I'd imagine also wanting your phone number to back up the claim. Personally seems a lot of work to go to for the sake of a few quid
