We've not swapped with another couple as yet, mainly because I'm extremely picky with the men Half's and we don't see many pics of them in profiles, met a few lovely ladies though and some amazing friends.

That is absolutely true you rarely see pictures of the male half of a couple, the site is just saturated with pics of the female half.
Parties and clubs are a good way to meet people because you can see them in the flesh and get to know them and there’s no expectation to have to play with them.  |

We finally took the plunge last month (and very pleasant it was too).
As noted above by other fabbers, we’re just ridiculously fussy and our time is limited (which hinders arranging meets).
Hoping to connect with a bi lady at the moment (we’re nothing if not optimistic) |

we decided (with the help of the amazing naughtycp1's Vanilla to Vixen podcast ep4) that we'll make the leap by traveling to a nice club a distance from home.
We had planned to make the leap by going to Cap D'Agde where it's another country and completely liberated life but can't go for a couple more years until kid-free holidays start.
Finding a meet when we are so nervous, time short and want to make the most of our free time feels like a wild goose chase with risk of many wasted evenings especially as we'd be traveling to another city for discretion and might be left at a loose end after one drink thinking how do we escape.
So have now found out a suitable club means we get a dressy night out (dressy in a way one can't in vanilla life but still nice), people are friendly to chat to, we can have a dance without feeling too old and we can have a naked hot tub and play with each other- all that would be a new adventure together.
If we click with a couple and go a step further that's great but if that's all we do we've not let anyone else down and taken a big step.
But still booking in and driving into a club car park will be frightening and it's a barrier to get over for sure.

We've soft swapped with other couples and had full sex during MFF threesomes so far and have both discussed a full swap or full MFM.
We are ready to have fun with other couples but it's finding the right people that we are struggling with.
Within a group we both chat, flirt and tease but a lot of other couples their seems to be a dominant person who does all the talking so it feels less like a group chat.
This is from a point of view to privately meet we know it's different in clubs but we like the build up to private meets xx. |
