We see numerous posts for cream pie and bare back appreciation in the forums so why not a safe sex appreciation post. Not as "sexy' but with the rates of STI amongst swinger's being higher than average we thought why not?

Yes I’m one for safe sex. 80% of adults will have HPV at some point in their lives. A cervical cancer causing virus. Most people with that are asymptomatic. The majority of STDs detected and treated are asymptomatic. I believe less people get tested than do. Obviously others won’t agree. If two people consent to bareback then fair enough. That’s up to them. I’d hope both partners got tested beforehand but not my business. I’ll take responsibility for my own sexual health. |

Yeah I only play safe with people who aren't my partner.
I block anyone who messages me asking for bare back. My profile says sex safe only. If they can't read that then It's not very reassuring that they'll take safe sex seriously. |

As the article states-

Also, this is a study of the population from the Netherlands and its figures may not apply to other countries including the UK. It is also unclear how the STI rates of infection in the Netherlands compare to the UK.

One of us worked in a STD clinic and saw so many life's devastated because of a moment (or two) of pleasure. The more recent studies looking particularly at swingers are worrying, more accurate to say scary as fck.
Surprised the site doesn't promote safe sex more than it does. |

It is evident that to many swingers are unaware that they fall into the HIGH RISK category.
Some of those playing unsafe are swinging solo, when in a relationship, their partner doesn't get the option on playing safe, their partner has made that decision for them.

It’s a shame they don’t offer the free postal STI testing for all ages all over the Uk. Maybe more people would test as it’s in the comfort of their own home and only a visit to the clinic in the event of a positive result. I am fortunate enough to live in an area where you can get one of those postal kits. |

Safe penetrative sex for us, why worry the next day when you can simply bag it?
Also we get tested every 3 months, only takes an hour, is free, and seems the responsible thing to do. Not sure how many people here get tested? xx |

I test regularly. I have the free postal kits sent to my home. I know not available in all area though. I think more people would test is they did it this way everywhere. |
