I don’t care if a man is bi but it does nothing for me, I have no interest in watching men together. This is probably because My husband is straight though, perhaps I’d feel differently if he was bi and it was him I was watching. Who knows? I’m not likely to ever find out.

I feel I miss out on a lot by being straight. When I say straight I mean "see blokes kiss and feel sick straight".
When I first joined here I struggled with all the cock pics as it made me feel very uncomfortable.
I have become desensitised to pics but I still think I would be unable to perform if another penis was present.
I know it makes me seem uptight and suppressed to many of you, but its who I am.
I have no bias against anyone's sexuality and, infact, am a little jealous of those bi couples who enjoy the full smorgasbord of sexual delights.
But I really have no choice. I am straight. Which is why, when I see a guy say "I am straight but like to give and receive a bj", I am very hardline. To me, if you can do that, you are bisexual.

No new winks - get where you are coming from and I agree. It’s certainly not a choice thing (I’m gay).
Only thing I’d add is that it’s perfectly possible in my view for a genuinely straight guy to enjoy some form of sexual interaction with a bi or gay guy. For example, I used to regularly video a completely straight guy wanking. He was turned on by the attention and having the camera on him. However he would not be touched in any way. He loved it, and got off on it, but I don’t think it made him any less straight. |

Well, I have no idea about what his sexual cues were and more power to him. For me, a similar situation would be a guaranteed invite for Mr Floppy.

I can’t imagine he would ever be ok with that to be honest. The man is not for turning. Some of us are just totally straight, some more ‘flexible’. He’s definitely rigidly straight. And that suits both of us, there’s still plenty of fun to be had.

Too many boxes and sub variations.
I’m more I love exploring new experiences and wondering what something is like and a try it mentality.
I think it is more who are you sexually attracted to or even who would you date. I would only date/relationship with a female and find women sexually attracted but enjoy the idea of having fun with males/ couples etc.
Like the romans and previous civilisations they just enjoyed sex and no taboo which the church and religion added into society and only now gradually getting away from. |

Oh hun, not at all... It's just that hetro-normative is still so much the default today, that to make a point that it disadvantages you sexually is touching to see.
A few years ago (10ish?) was asked by a large Public Sector Unions' LGBT National Committee to attend BiCon and to report back. It was a revelation to me!
My report back to the committee with analogy is that bi-sexuals live in the middle of two "mono-sexual" neighbours hurling insults and abuse at each other. It is no wonder they keep stump and just get on with their life.

That's only your perspective, they may state wrong their sexuality for many a reason, not just the one you highlight.

The issue I've highlighted has been confirmed in messages by numerous 'straight' men to me, I'm not making this up or generalising.
I used to reply to them and after endless excuses and message ping pongs I decided 'no straight men' to save time and concentrate on those who don't have misleading info on their profile.
I live alone, I have to trust them to meet. If they are not honest on their profile they are not for me. |

Agree with all you say - personally, I feel the same about sex. It’s about attraction for me - and you can’t control who you’re attracted to. Taken me until very recently to properly accept that after years of social conditioning to “settle down with a nice man and have kids” when actually I am attracted to women too.

I get what you're saying but I guess Holly's point is she can't trust a guy who is lying about his sexuality.
For me, I agree more with you. If I look at the verifications of the guys I've shagged, they say they're "Straight" and only show verifications from cis women (as far as we can tell) and couples. No trans. They may be colluding with transphobia but TBH, this is shag site... Not dating.
