some people don't want to get caught up in conversations with people who they have no interest in.
They feel that deleting and/or blocking will stop any further communication therefore not wasting anyone's time  |

There is nothing wrong with short messages, but make sure u have a decent pic as ure avatar and an attractive reading profile to get a reply. In my experience long messages are just copy and paste material that is not worth reading. |

Because funnily enough, it happens. People like pictures and see that they are close by and send a message without actually reading what they are looking for.
We have had messages asking for meets before now, despite the fact that we have NOT MEETING at the start of our profile. |

Welcome to Fab - that's how it is. It's not 'Instashag' and its not a way of getting a quick knee-trembler. It takes work and effort.
For some people it's not the right place, for others it is. Accept the way it is as you won't change anything by moaning - trust me on this.
Why can I say this - I am a single male. I am on here. I get meets. Because I work at it. I don't expect every woman on here to fall at my feet and beg me to have se with them. I have probably had as many knock backs as you guys, but I don't let it get to me. I just move on.
I see these threads all the time, and still some guys don't get it.
You get out what you put in - just be patient!

Why 'should' you send long messages? Nobody should HAVE to do anything on this site. If someone is forcing you to send messages you should report the bullying to admin. If you're choosing to send them of your own volition, then don't moan about it.
It is not compulsory to send messages. Neither is it compulsory for anyone to reply. It's that simple. No amount of moaning in the forums will alter that. Admin point out in the FAQ that it is not rude to not reply. |

Good point, becoming frustrated because women don't respond to messages is the epitome of desperation and I'm sure we've all been there!
But the point (to the OP) is you put in whatever work you need to in order to get what you want out of this lifestyle, improve your chances of getting a reply and then that elusive meet...one thing I can tell you is no woman/couple has ever said my approach messages are too detailed, so what's the point in sending a one liner..that's almost a guaranteed waste of energy..unless you're George Clooney! |

I'm prepared to make annoying comments now because A:I'm bored too, and B:I can, because just like the message facility I can choose to write things or not to.
If no one replies to you its because A:they don't want to, or B: They don't have to, or C: both.
There's no great mystery or conspiracy.

Obviously it's the person behind you with the gun. Nobody else is making you write long intro messages.
There is just a slight possibility that your message will arrive at the right time and the recipient will check out your profile.
Then there is a possibility that they may write back. This could move onto a meet, where you have the best sex since the last time you had sex.
Or maybe not. Who knows how it works out. |

If anybody sent me a hi how's it going message, if I honestly replied, they would run for the hills. Sometimes it's easier to block or not reply.

OP, if you messaged me I would delete without even reading since the mere fact that you have done so tells me plainly that you have not read my profile - I would glean this information from your age alone. Others are similarly ageist, I'm afraid. It really might be something as simple as that.

99% of the messages i recieve from single males get deleted because they havent bothered to read my profile, and i know they havent!
All these men moan about how we dont reply and just delete their messages-well perhaps more would reply if so many didnt just send a message without checking if we are even interested in single males?
To me if you message someone without reading their profile it just shows you're willing to meet anyone. |

I find it funny how so many people on here dont understand that there are alot of people who message on here but dont even meet.
Chances are the person you message will just hop onto something better, not turn up when arranged or just stop messaging. |

I'm always a bit concerned when guys say this sort of thing. I assume when they meet people in real life they don't just say 'wanna fuk?' or talk for 30 mins about how they'd like to slide their man-meat into her love chute, or words to that effect.
If people can carry on a nice conversation in real life, why do they struggle on here. Start with 'Hi, how are you?' something about the weather, something about their likes about swinging, maybe an anecdote about their day. Sane chat, which might just catch someone's eye. |

honestly i skipped down to newest message, so its probably been said but my status update shows how i am so emails asking get the shortened 'no Ty' & not much else. decent messages get read, I'll look at the profile ( the actual words) & base my response on that. As stated in my profile why would i respond with a message longer than the actual(cnp) one that came in?  |
