We recently had a meet a 6some 3m/3f.
All was going well and we starting playing, then one of the girls put condoms on all the guys. This was before any BJs took place. We play safe when fucking but do you really need to wear one any other time. What are the risks ? |

last time i researched this i found there is no documented case of anyone catching hiv through oral sex.
although it is theoretically possible, when i go to my GUM clinc checkup I ask for throat swabs to be taken as well as everything else just in case.Thankfully in spite of my complete addiction to sucking cock unprotected I have always been clear.
But yes,you have to weigh up the risk.
If I had been at the above meet I would have said thanks but I prefer without a condom and removed it for the oral.

"... We play safe when fucking but do you really need to wear one any other time. What are the risks ? "
Far lower than penetrative sex, but the risk is still there for a whole variety of STIs, e.g. it's thought syphilis is becoming more common again due to unprotected bjs.
Do you really need to wear one? No one 'needs' to wear a condom, even for fucking, but it's entirely down to the people involved to consider the risks and decide between them if they wish to wear one. This girl had obviously considered the risks and decided she needed condoms on before playing. |

"well a nurse at the gum clinic told me you can get hiv from sucking a cock.
"
You need an open blood pathway. So yes, in theory it can happen if you have bleeding gums or an ulcer for example.
But there have not, as yet, been any documented cases.
But back to the OP; I always prefer to be a party to the condom going on since I react badly to some - by which I mean they can trigger eczema internally and cause bleeding. So I would have taken it off to be sure that it was a variety which I can use without a reaction.
Very helpful of her and meant with the best of intentions, but sometimes people are too helpful... |

Got to agree with the HIV comments, your chance of catching this from oral is very nearly nil. You have more chance of condom splitting while having sex. Knew that biology degree would come in handy some time. |
