Ooh, good question. I loved J by Jasper Conran before Debenhams discontinued them. Charnos run resist are a particular favourite but struggle to find them in stock in preferred colour and size. |

"I love wearing my tights stockings but love marks and Spencer’s but not cheap what’s your favourite brand xxx"
I used to love the primark hold ups but not seen them in ages. Hopefully they get their act together before mine die altogether. Being blessed in the thigh dept it’s difficult to find ones that don’t cut of my circulation lol.

My absolute faves are Gio Fully Fashioned Stockings - I have quite a collection.
As for on the ‘high st’, good old M&S are my go to brand, their hold ups are fab, never had a problem with them falling down! I have however noticed that they don’t seem to sell proper stockings any more which is a real shame.

Love buying ladies stockings, nothing sexier than seeing and feeling them on. Always buy them from mayfair stockings, luxury stockings and come beautifully wrapped. So gentlemen if want to be in ladies good books pay them a visit. Maison close is my favourite at the moment |

I've been on SHQ for years, I used to enjoy their forums. I've bought loads of stockings from there too. Getting the right size is a problem for loads of brands. |

Don't have a particular favourite brand, but I do like to buy vintage stockings, especially 80s and 90s ones. Recently picked up a pair of Pretty Polly honeysuckle motif stockings. Saving those for a special occasion.

Have any real Ladies or gurlz bought any of those “oiled” look stockings? I was really tempted by the look and different sheen than glossy stockings, bought some black seamed oiled look ones, £10 and in seconds there was a ladder on one foot and the other stocking laddered near the welt. I’ve worn stockings for 40+ years and you can count on probably a couple of pairs that I have laddered so quickly upon wearing them, I was so looking forwards to wearing them to go out as well. I bought as big a size as I could XXl as I’m 5’9” and probably size 16 and I had read somewhere that a woman had bought hers but only got the maximum effect when they were really high up her thighs and stretched…..??? I would love to buy another pair if anyone can recommend a brand that doesn’t ladder quick and gives the full effect what the likes look should be |
