In it's own way it's no different from the fake profile issue on here i.e.
Assume everyone you contact online is a guy until you can verify otherwise.
So therefore assume every meet has fucked bareback recently and take suitible precautions until you feel safe enough to verify otherwise. |

I state that at times I play bare. Funny that guys I've done it with don't show verifications as I do put that it was bare.
However just because on occasion I do. Certainly doesn't mean that other guys I've met haven't played safe
Oh and if I'm ever looking for bare I actually get more messages than normal.

OP... why does it matter? You play how you want to play and others will play how they want to play. You will find that sometimes people do actually tell fibs to get what they want, if you think otherwise maybe you should find a different hobby.

If honesty leads to people feeling that they are being judged, victimised or excluded, just for exercising their free will, then many will resort to lies in order to get what they want from you ...or at least, to protect themselves from feeling marginalised. That is human nature, and no amount of moaning about it will change the fact. The more negative anti-barebacking responses displayed in some of these threads only serves to encourage more lies and deceit...
