Female opinion wanted!

I’m a newbie to the site and I’d like some advice from a female point of view! I see a lot of negative comments about messages from men so I try to be interesting but respectful when I message a woman or couple I always offer to share a face pic if they reply but I don’t seem to be getting many responses. Anyone got any advice?
