On a serious note, myself and most gay men I speak to have no idea what half the letters mean, we find it laughable when more are randomly added by unknown sources. It is ridiculous |

"What does queer mean now a days?? I thought it meant gay "
People who don’t fit neatly into any other boxes. The trailblazers, the weirdos, the ones with complicated genders or sexuality. Everyone who finds it hard to label themselves.
Q also stands for Questioning, btw.
If you can make jokes about not knowing what the acronym stands f |

Well, now you know that you're wrong.
I'm unsure why it's 'absolute nonsense,' but if you would like to know more about asexuality, just ask. |

Couldn't agree more, each to their own but every 5 mins seems to be another person trying to outdo the last with their gender or sexuality preferences. It's clear that it's developed into "I'm more unique sexually than any other person that ever lived" mentality.
Beyond beggers belief at this stage. Your either born with A or B, or prefer A or B. Don't muddy the waters with whatever someone wakes up feeling. Where does it stop, if someone identifies as a child and prefers kids is that suddenly OK? Or a dog and has relationships with other dogs it's not beastility? Absolute tripe and as usual il be shot down by the PC brigade |

It’s pretty simple - the letters stand for anyone who feels misrepresented. If that list of letters is as long as the alphabet, I don’t care! If that list of letters has to include numbers and symbols too, I don’t care! Because to someone, somewhere, having representation is the difference between life and su i cid e.
So if you think it’s getting ridiculous just shut up. And if you are already a part of the community, and you think it’s ridiculous, shame on you! |

Intersex, asexual/agender. There’s a lot more medical understanding around intersex conditions than there was back in 1969 so we now know there’s more to chromosomes than XX or XY. |

"Without being flip, perhaps they should add N/A
Not Applicable ..! "
I think you might find that is A for Asexual.
I also found this acronym when researching LGBTIQCAPGNGFNBA
https://hablr.com/what-does-lgbtiqcapgngfnba-stand-for/
But I notice it's missing 2S for two spirit. |

"Gay people say "we don't want to be labelled" then go off and create a whole bunch of different labels for themselves. Go figure. "
Oh look another straight white man speaking for people on a subject he has no business being part of. |

"Gay people say "we don't want to be labelled" then go off and create a whole bunch of different labels for themselves. Go figure. "
I mean this is a complete (deliberate?) misunderstanding of what queer people want.
LGBTQ people don't say they don't want to be "labelled", they say they don't want to be stereotyped or prejudiced against. Which are totally different things, in case that wasn't obvious.
