Sorry OP you make it sound like you will be doing more than chatting. Nothing wrong with getting up to mischief in say the woods, but a zoo with kids around is pretty inappropriate.

My wildest coffee meet was a McDonald's.

Good grief what a strange bunch some are on here. Swingers into open relationships etc yet such closed minds and very judgemental of others.

OP go for it, have a great day at the zoo, I am sure there will be lots of opportunities for 'mischief' with no one around you even noticing what is going on.

"I thought meeting in a public place was sensible....but what do I know? "

meeting in a public place is sensible.

i don't think anyone is questioning that.

i think what concerns some people is the content of the meet in that public place.

kids do see adults cosying up and being kissy and most people won't see any harm in that either.

where the debate seems to centre is on what is acceptable on a meet in a public place - and just how 'public' is public.

it was the reference to 'cheeky photo opportunities' that made wriggle a little

i personally don't think that a zoo is the place for that sort of behaviour

as others have suggested, if you are looking for 'cheeky photo opportunties' choose your time and your place wisely

there are some excellent outside shots contained within profiles on this site, but i have seen comments from the owners of said profiles that they take great care in organising the shoots and planning the timing of them so that, despite the fact they are in public places, they are also carried out with great discretion.

that just didn't seem to me to be the case with the OP - rather it would be a case of opportunism, and we all know that such opportunism can often lead to embarrassment and/or offence

i don't see my view as narrow minded or judgemental - simply sensible and considerate !

The zoo meet was with me, wasn't a date, like a previous poster mentioned, was a fun couple hours out in a public place.

And guess what, we are adults that can behave in public places, by cheeky photo opportunities the OP was referring to shots like leaning against a tree with top shirt button undone, not offensive, not rude, but clearly taken the wrong way by folk on here.

As for kissing, people kiss in public all the time, which can be seen by kids anywhere.

Personally, I'm glad for the zoo visit, sitting in pubs or cafes gets dull after a while, to me, someone thinking outside the box, for somewhere to go on a social meet, shows thought, and imagination and effort. Which I would fully think is carried over in his life in general.

There is no rule book that says a social meet has to be in place A or B etc, a social can be anywhere, and majority adults know how to behave with decorum on a meet

Regardless of what words are used to describe a picture, maybe people should ask the question, rather than jump to conclusions, which many have done on this thread, but, not surprised, see it on lots threads people jumping to conclusions, and creating a sentence for a crime not committed.

Truly amazes me, as recently read a thread on FABS from a couple posting about taking flashing pics in ikea, funny how they weren't hung , drawn and quartered, do kids not shop in ikea???

And how about daytime doggers performing sex acts in discrete but public places, could a child or group of children not stumble upon those doggers????

I read first post and thought yay. What an idea. But oh wow some people go a bit over the top

I've taken naughty as in short skirt caught by the wind. Up skirt shots etc. Even a few cheeky flashing panties or topless shots In all manner of places. Thorpe park. Museums. Shopping centres. Etc etc. But it's always out of sight. Sometimes half the fun is trying to get the photo. And you may not manage it

As a mum I am aware that places like that if it's not furry or animal related or got flashing lights and loud music they won't notice. Have to say I've noticed a couple once. But they were being quite discreet. Just I'm a pervert and noticed

I want to go to the zoo now lol

I'd agree with that.

And within the context of this site, meet tends to have a specific meaning which is why people tend to also use the expression social meet to differentiate between the 2.

So let's put this into a different context, had the Op said he was having a meet at Cannock Chase or pretty much any other outdoor location and looking forward to some mischief and going to take some cheeky pics what would people have assumed?

I'm not going to apologise for the conclusion I jumped to, I don't see why those words suddenly take on a new context on this thread.

Can't win really. You ask the OP questions, you get slated for asking questions. You comment your opinion as to how you understand the facts as stated and you get slated for having an opinion.

To me, a social is one thing and a meet is another thing.

Hey ho.

People can assume whatever they like, but writing posts indicating that stuff is going to be done where children or is not nice. Intact it's very insulting. Are kids banned from every other outdoor area??

Regardless of where any form of picture is taken outdoors, kids could potentially be in the area.

It's just annoying to high heaven how minority of people using forums start making accusations without discovering facts. If Wills post wasn't clear, shouldn't questions have been asked, rather than accusations thrown around !

Scarlet, everyone is entitled to a opinion.

However, accusations shouldn't have been made, like some posters did, and they certainly shouldn't assume people would do stuffing front of children.

"If Wills post wasn't clear, shouldn't questions have been asked, rather than accusations thrown around !"

The opening post was perfectly clear. He clearly said he was going to a zoo for a meet and looking forward to some mischief.

I'm not quite sure why you are blaming others for interpreting that as "I'm going to a zoo for a meet and looking forward to some mischief"

Why does the blame lies with us for not questioning what he meant as opposed to him for stating one thing meaning another...

"Funeral parlour disabled toilet (to be honest - it was the only toilet)."

That's disgusting, what if a disabled person had needed to use the bathroom? I am shd and offended at your inconsideration

So you thinks its acceptable to accuse people you don't know, of doing stuff in areas where children might or might not be. Quite frankly I would never make accusations like that!

"Quite frankly I would never make accusations like that!"

Where did I accuse him of anything?

He said he was going on a meet.

He said he was looking forward to some mischief.

He said that he was looking forward to some cheeky photo's.

There is nothing in the manner of his first 2 contributions to this thread that suggests that he was planning an innocent social meet. He asked about crazy stories...

I didn't say any of that he did. And all I said was that it was somewhat inappropriate in an environment that would be in the main populated by families and children. A comment I 100% stand by.

Somewhat inappropriate if going to do something unsuitable, hardly inappropriate if nothing unsuitable is going to be done.

Yes Will may not have used right words to right his post, but that does not give people to call us vile names (thankfully those threads were removed),and it doesn't give someone the right to hint that we were doing something inappropriate.all I can suggest, before sullying people's names, you should 100% ascertain facts!

"no monkey business please,

lets hope he see's a lovely camel toe

where she's hiding a nice beaver

hope she likes the look of his trunk

thank you and good night

"

That made Mrs HC laugh WAY more than it should have done.

There are some crazy comments on here... Lets face it unless you are behind locked doors there is always the chance a child, vicar, old or other easily shocked person could turn the corner and find someone in a compromising situation. Isn't that part of the thrill of playing outdoors! Are the nay says really saying those of us who enjoy this should no longer do it? Obviously, as I am sure the OP and the lady he is meeting are aware, you take care so as not to frighten the horses so to speak.

That's why fans of the great outdoors have to be a bit sensible about time and location. Mid-day on a public beach on a school holiday will probably (and should) get you jailed.

Don't laugh. It happened.

Midnight in a secluded carpark should attract no more than a telling-off should the cops come across you (sorry!).

Yeah, they do.

Cops respond to a 'I can see a couple having sex' message. They aren't interested whether it's swingers, doggers, a d*unk couple who've just met in the pub or whatever.

Thanks to everyone that took this thread in the spirit it was meant. And for the record there won't be any boobies or willys on show from us. Can't talk for the animals but its too cold for mine to be out. Will repudiate the thread with the photos on my profile on Friday night then u can see what our idea of cheeky mischief is.

Will
