Over the past few weeks we've seen a few posts asking about swinging podcasts that are based in the UK.
You may not have heard of our show, so we thought we'd take time out to give you a little bit more info.
Mrs H and I (I'm Mr H, hello btw) are in our 40s and have been in the lifestyle since 2016. In 2018 we started podcasting about our adventures - and the _ed hoppers show was born. We started by covering some of our stories - and then branched out into interviews, interesting topics and the occasional naughty story.
If you’ve never encountered a podcast before, think of it like a radio show that you can download on your phone or computer.
We try to give balanced coverage of our experiences - so when it goes wrong, we tell you and when it goes right, we also try to pull any learnings out too. We don’t like to just cover sexy stories for the sake of it. Our early days included a lot of fuck ups - so, if you’re just starting out, you might find it particularly useful. We’d reviewed a variety of events and clubs too.
You can find the show on pretty much every podcast platform - Spotify, iTunes, Podbean and we even post the show and some video content to Youtube. You might also have seen us both on that Channel 4 documentary a couple of years back. We also run a website and have started a blog too (bedhoppers.co.uk)
We know that our show won’t be for everyone - and that’s ok. There are plenty of other podcasts out there (although very few of them are based in the UK). Shows we’d recommend include Sharing is Caring, Wanderlust Swingers (formerly Swinging Downunder), By the Bi and Room 77. I’ve listened to quite a few of your podcasts not all though. I think they are good 
I think it would be a good idea for you to get guests on to share their experience and reviews of what they have recently been up to… Not just couples, single women, men and trans. |

M and I listen in fact it was your podcast that gave us the push to start swinging, it really helped us to feel that we weren’t just weird freaks and in fact the desire to have fun with others is quite ok. |

Thank you for the very kind words folks - that's very lovely of you.
In terms of getting more guests on, we're looking at that - and are seeing what we can do to have some interesting people on. It's a tricky balance to get right, as not everyone is a good fit and it makes editing much more of a pain!
For funny episodes, Mrs H always recommends episode 8 - Chundermuff and ep100 (the youtube for that is funny too).
Sexy episodes? Hmmm perhaps Ep86 (about DP) and Ep107 - which covers the Star Trek party. |
