Just lately I've had a hall pass from my better half and shes encouraged me to find myself a social etc. I've taken a bit of stick off some profiles because of this.it appears they cold shoulder this kind of idea and made their feelings felt.myself and my other half aren't always with one another so we make do the best we can.
So my question is, how do you all feel about this kind of activity?? Or is there an unwritten etiquette on this kind of thing. |

People don't believe men when they say this but people do believe women when they say this.
I don't know how you alter the general perception unless you offer a chat with your lady. The problem with that is that a lot of people won't be bothered to do that |

Yes I agree with what you have just wrote. It's led me to explain myself before I even get chatting to a profile. |

You're here for you, don't worry about what anyone else thinks of how your relationship works, we do things others wouldn't and we wouldn't do things that other couples consider normal.
The only issue you may encounter is doing it via a couples profile can give off single male vibes, many single males make couples profiles to bypass filters and use the "only male meeting" line. |

"I agree with the above.
Maybe start a single profile, you can reference your couples profile on it for transparency. "
I've thought about that but having a single mans profile is treated like the enemy. Its an option though |

Make a singles profile and put in the title "male half of FML98"
That way you're upfront and look honest in your approach.
Meeting as a single male from a couples profile can lead to your couples profile getting no attention at all and ending up on a lot of blocklists as people will assume its a fake male profile. |

I understand your thinking but our verifications speak for themselves |

It's OK but slow as we don't live with one another. so communication is essential when admin and messages need to be read by the other half. As for meets its difficult to organise at times |

Are you getting any success meeting alone from your couples profile? |

We generally do our thing together. Sometimes we do things Solo. Likewise we don't live together. Very much a couple and we are engaged but we are both also single parents with our own households to raise. I really wouldn't worry about others attitudes. Just do you and what you're both happy with as a couple.
And those that don't believe you that's fine (and the skepticism is understandable). Also understand that for some people they just don't want to lend another womans man. Not because they don't believe you or think your doing anything wrong. Just because they don't like the idea of the guy they're with belonging to another woman even in a NSA arrangement for various reasons. However there are plenty on the scene who are happy with guys in relationships with open privileges. Especially I would argue women in similar relationships or for those who just find the concept of borrowing another woman man hot. |

I've only been trying since 3 days ago. Had a few interests then they must read the profile and retreat back to their caves and go quiet. |

I'm having similar issues, but the other way.
I mainly play solo, but have been in an open, poly relationship since Christmas and we are just starting to look at doing things as a couple.
But people won't take me seriously if I try doing couples things from here, so we have had to set up a couples profile, though it says to message either of our solo accounts as we can't keep up with running both.
No idea how we'll it'll work, but we'll see. |

Does she confirm to any prospective meets that you have permission to play alone? |

I've not had to pass that information on yet as nothing has been firmly planned. I have told her about a few positive messages from profiles ive chatted to but nothing comes of it yet. |

It's a nightmare as it is trying to juggle the admin side of a profile. Then having to open another profile is more work lol |
