Is there a term on Fab to clarify sexual preference when the options are:straight -bicurious-bisexual.

Basically in the world away from Swinging, neither of us would be attracted to same sex people. However!! We have regularly played in Bi situations and enjoyed it fully. Mmff/mmf/ffm/fm+trans

So if we stated we were just 1 of the options,it could be misleading.

I think Hetro-Flexible is a good way to describe that.

'Bi-playful' or 'situational bi' are my two faves.

But then I'm not a fan of labels. If you have enough info in your profile to explain your preferences then that should be enough. If people don't read them that's their issue.

Go with whatever label is the most accurate description of your Fab life. Eg, If you're on here looking for Bi meets, then Bisexual would be the most appropriate label.

How you'd label your sexuality in your non-Fab life is not really relevant here.

Think it was called "being open minded" before labels became so popular

This ^

If you will have sexual interaction with both sexes, then bi.

Only one, then straight if it’s the opposite, gay/lesbian if it’s the same.

Anything more detailed, just explain it in the profile text (and then again in messages when people fail to read the profile).

I don’t see why you wouldn’t just put bisexual or bi curious if your open to it here.

This site is for enjoying your sex lives. I note that the female half has put bi but the male hasn’t ? Surely if you both think the same way you would have put both straight or both bi. Too many men think putting bi on their profile will damage their chances on here with homophobic or blinkered women but I can assure you it certainly doesn’t.

"you can label yourself what ever you like but most will see you as just bi"

This I just deem you as bisexual with physical sex on meets What you label or not yourself in real world stuff away from fab is your business .

Sex wise though bisexual is a simple easy term if people dabble in same sex physical play .

I like the term bi-playful as it could mean it’s not something you’re actively seeking, but if it did happen you’d play along.

Why label yourselves at all.

The more I experience the world, the more I realise that sex and sexuality is fluid and context dependent.

I agree with other posters. There are two different questions that seem to be answered: (1) how do you define yourselves sexually and (2) how do you define yourselves sexually on Fab.

As others have said, for (1) define yourselves in a way that makes sense for you. Many of us have sexualities that are more complex than the boxes here. There's nothing wrong with that and it should be embraced.

For (2), I would suggest you both put your sexuality as bi-curious or bisexual, depending upon your preference. If this is the type of play you're open-to, stating it on your profile will help you find like-minded or accepting people.

Will a man saying he's bi put off 'homophobic or blinkered women' - yes! It will. And men too. But are those the types of people you want to play with? There are enough like-minded people here that I don't think you should hide what you wanr. If you can't state your sexual preferences openly on an anonymous swingers site, then where can you?

We put bi curious because like you we wouldn't do anything with same sex separately but enjoy everyone playing with each other when in a threesome, foursome ect....

We prefer the term bi playful but that isn't an option on fab unfortunately xx
