The only info I get after a test is a text. Always says no new infection found. Strange wording, there are no old infections.
Question is, what would you be actually asking for as proof? |

My test results give me a negative against everything that was tested for. |

"How long is a test relevant for? As soon as you have sex surely it’s null and void
Exactly"
I see loads of profiles stating tested negative 3 months ago lol what has that person been up to since then!! |

Yet another pointless boring thread, if you are so worried about the risks don't do it. A test result is only as good as the moment it was issued. As for all the anti barebackers who constantly frequent these posts. Bore off and get a life. |

really ?? we know loads of barebackers who get tested every 6 weeks the do it because they want to know theyve caught nothing so testing is not pointless in fact i find it a worry that anyone who swings safer or bare that dont get tested they could be riddled and no know it .... choice is choice no one should judge safer of bare but please dont say testing is rubbish when its the only thing that can tell you your clean or not |

I wouldn't dream of asking anyone about their medical history and I wouldn't tell them mine.
It's private and personal between you and the doctor. If you have or want bareback sex then it's your responsibility to look after yourself and not anyone elses.

Apart from the title, you’re the first one to mention bareback, maybe you need to get a life and stop jumping to conclusions |

Where exactly did I say that tests are pointless or that I don't have them?
I correctly pointed out that negative test results are only as accurate as at that moment the person is tested.

Reason that it is worded like that is because there’s one particular STI that will show up on tests even after it has been treated and fully eradicated, the markers for it remain in the blood stream.
So in theory one could be negative but get a positive result from a previous infection. -hence the weird wording.

So if you got an STD from give or receiving oral sex you would not tell the last person you were with ? |

It's true that test results are only as good as on the day were taken, and not even that if the test was too soon after your last sexual encounter. Some sti can't be picked up until some time after sex, and that's with both oral and penetrative sex.
It's also true that one sti can leave a trace in the blood even after having been treated and cleared.
Of course it's ok to ask if they've had a recent test, but how would you prove it. A lot would be based on trust and how well you know that person. |
