I love a naughty tradie in his work clothes and I like a nice suit, especially vintage style. Not sure if the popularity of "Peaky blinders" has been a blessing or a curse.
I think it's the confidence and attitude of the man wearing the clothes that carries the bulk of the sex appeal. |

Mrs much prefers well presented. Suited is great, but smart/casual is her preference. She makes an effort, so would like the chaps to do the same. Oh, and a good quality cologne. She loves a guy who smells great. |

We’re often amazed by the single men that turn up to clubs looking like they’ve just got off the settee and have come out without so much as combing their hair or putting on an ironed shirt.
Probably the same ones that come on the forums saying what a waste of time the clubs are.

I was amazed at this on the one occasion we went! A really odd interpretation of smart/casual by some. |

"Rough & ready !!! I love a tradie
Don’t mind a suit but it has to fit well and only for weddings etc
I prefer a more disheveled look "
That's absolutely the thing with a suit, they can easily look borrowed and baggy. I think you are best off paying for fit, even if that is 'cheaper', forget the snobbery. |

"Prefer a well fitted suit any time and jeans and a shirt as a more casual look.
I don't get the while joggers thing at all either"
For jogging only surely.....?
Daughters boyfriend turns up in these...not impressive, him or his joggers |

Agreed! women always put the effort in to get dressed up, the least men can do is spend a few minutes choosing nice ironed clothes |

It depends on what people call rough and ready.
I see rough and ready as
A builder/traders person can look great in smart casual/grey joggers, that look good but need to be clean and they can be suited and booted.
Not
If someone that wears dirty clothes (smell/food spills/ unwashed), not showered in days, then that's unacceptable and not rough and ready.
