We have done - in fact on one of our first couple swaps neither of us was keen on our swap person - oops! 
Better communication exists now to ensure we don't do that again! That and the fact we rarely play with couples  |

i met one couple because i liked the lady, but it was a mistake because i didnt like the man one little bit.
have also met 2 couples because i wanted to meet the lady then when i met them i liked both of them as they only had one face pic which didnt realy do them justice. |

Its a big noooooo here this is about both of us having fun.We have turned down couples because Jen has not fancy the man but did like the female which was a shame.But we find the female half of the couple is normally hotter than the male (not always) do other couples find that or is that just us??? |

how desparate would someone have to be to "take one for the team"? if you dont click with the person/people then why sleep with them as plenty other people and cpls on here ! i would be disgusted to think someone was taking one for the team meeting with me or as a couple with my hubby .id be even more disgusted that others would think id drop my standerds just because im on a swing site ! if i asked my hubby to go with a woman he doesnt want to just so i can have the hubby i can garentee the answer id get and it wouldnt be pleasent lol ! the same if visa versa ! id also exspect my husband to have too much respect for me to even contemplate that ,as id have for him. not to mention id/we have too much respect for others to treat them that shoddily !

Went to a party recently and there was not one couple we wanted to play with. The host was like. oh come on join in its just sex for fun! I was like, wtf are you for real?
We have sex with people we find attractive and we apply that on our search criteria so really should have no surprises when we do meet. We meet in a social setting first and if that doesnt seal the deal for us both or individually then sorry your not getting a pass back to ours. It has to be right for the both of us as we play together. |

Absolutely not. Perky and I have a strict 'veto' system going. If either of us doesn't want to meet either one of the other couple, it doesn't happen - and no questioning as to 'why?' or trying to persuade the other to 'take one for the team' is allowed.
Been sorely tempted once or twice, but resisted and we've found it much better that way.

Hate to say it, and it may just be us, but in more than 50% of the couples we've turned down it's been because I am less attracted to the female than Perky is to the male.... not that I am suggesting she has lower standards than me, of course.....

Isn't this just a bit of a follow on thread from the OP's "hot women, not so hot men" thread?
My own view on this sort of thing is this:
Everyone sees their own physical attractiveness on a Pyramid with levels between 1-10.
When swapping or choosing a person for a fuck no one wants to drop down to a person who they see to be on a level or more below them. Everyone is always looking up, or in most cases doing someone on the same level as them.
That's why people who are on say level 9 or 10, have a lot less choice as they near the top. But if you were willing to lower your standards down a level of attractiveness occasionally you might find someone you wouldn't normally go with that surprises you. I'm not suggesting you go for a munter for the hell of it, but dropping down one level isn't going to make that much difference.
Obviously things blur the levels occasionally. Alcohol is good for this. As anyone who has woken up with a 'chew me own arm off' will attest to.
Also having vast sums of money, usually men, will enable a level 1 guy to bag a level 9 or 10 woman. (See Bernie Ecclestone for reference)
Also having a massive cock can help jumping up a level or two, and if you have a decent personality too possibly more.
Here endeth the horrendous generalization!

I did it in the past once with my ex
he really liked the woman, i could see how much, but i just didnt fancy her fella but i played with him anyway so my ex could play with the lady
he didnt ask me to, daft as it may sound if he had i would have said no, i didnt even tell my ex i didnt like the guy as if i did he'd have said leave it them so i just made out i was happy to play
have to say was the first and last time, i didnt enjoy it at all so every time after that i said if i didnt like someone

Neither of us would be comfortable thinking the other was doing that so we could have some fun. Its not just for my fun its for his fun as well.
So taking one for the team would mean there was no team. |

We spent a whole sunday evening at chams and didn't see one person we both found attractive except one woman who was on her way into couples room, when we went in as well the room was heaving with sweaty flesh and we all turned around and walked out! We said we'd go find her and she disappeared  Tor then put on a show in a viewing room and we left. We do this for fun really not to just have sex. |
