A couple visited us, the lady was led into the front room by my wife, the hubby held me back, and in a very quiet voice said," I dont know how you are going to broach the subject, but I havnt actualy told the wife why we are here!!!!!", he didnt know how I was going to tell his wife!! That was not a very successful evening. |

What happened next!!
We were very hospitable, gave them a drink, and started on the usual nicaties! We asked if we were the first couple they had met, she asked for clarrification and I explained, we had made contact through a magazine, called "Desire", thats when the penny dropped! she hit the roof, threw her drink over her hubby, and stormed out of the house! he went after her and the last we saw of them was he was in the car, leaning out of the window, trying to persuade her to get in, and not havingmuch luck. When they arrived she had a nice big coat on and a very nice chiffon blouse with a short skirt and high heels, she left the house so quickly she did not bother with her coat and as it was the middle of winter and freezing cold, walking in snow was not a good idea in high heels. We kept the coat for one of them to collect for over a year but we didnt see either of them ever again.
I often wondered what happened to them? |

He must have had balls of steel to try & get away with that! Most I've ever done, was a weekend away, where I got her to come to a football match! |

Dont really know what happened to the coat! think the wife disposed of it in some way.
The thing that got me was the fact that he said to me, " how was I going to explain their visit"!! And I just remembered the last I saw of her was stumbling through the snow in her high heels!!! |

How very odd the whole thing was. What on earth was he thinking of? I wonder if they stayed together I'm not sure I could recover from something like that. |
