A monochrome background is always good. Study the light before you shoot and get a feeling for what strikes you as beautiful in nude/erotic photography. Mapplethorpe is fantastic. That doesn't mean we can all be Mapplethorpes! |

Get dressed up and flounce about like you’re in a Pirelli calendar.
Lots of leaning over and different lighting sources.
The effect on one of mine I like best has the sunlight coming through blinds. Shame the subject material wasn’t all that, but you’ve got to work with what you have. |
