Doncaster

Mr has recently had knee surgery and his knee is still recovering, he struggles to be on all fours and I have joint issues that stop me being on top.

Any suggestions while he recovers?

Was going to suggest on something raised, like a table (but with something soft on top for you). You on all fours on the edge of the bed, or standing and bent over the back of a chair so he can stand behind you.
