We are sure that there must have been a rant like this in the forums before, but we never cease to be amazed at the way people choose photos to fab and the quality of photos that they fab. We always mumbled distain between ourselves about some of the more iffy choices that people bestow hundreds of Fabs upon but recently some friends of ours put up a Halloween photo on here that although it was not overtly sexual was in our minds one of the best photos we have ever seen on here and in a way showed part of there fun nature yet it only ever managed 6 Fabs and left us wondering does a class and quality approach to the photos you put up here mean less interest from every one?

Different people like different things.
maybe some of the pics that have been fabbed a lot are popular because some people just like them even though you dont or they could have lots of friends on here who like to fab their pictures. |

True enough we on the whole appreciate that it's a horses for courses thing when it comes to Fabs on photos it was more a debate about the quality of photos and if people thought that putting time and thought into the photos you post are not as enjoyable as the more spur of the moment ones? Xx |

As with anything subjective, it depends on the audience. Had this been posted on a Hallowe'en thread on a Photography site I'd imagine it would have got more interest! |

I hardly ever look at the most fabbed, but when I do? I am shocked at some of the pics that have been fabbed in the hundreds!
I thought the most fabbed only spanned over 12 hours? And I do seriously think, really?????

Think it's a case of "Diffrent strokes" There are some fantastic pic's on here thats for sure, but how many people have looked at them to fab them? Would it not be a better idea to have a viewed counter? |

The quality of the other photos was an intentional thing as they have a thing for the grainy black and white image, I think like us all we have photos that turn out to be all the things we would love them to be and others that are a bit of a miss lol xx |

The view counter would be interesting!
Sometimes I wonder if people "fab" a photo to ingratiate themselves with the poster. I wonder what would happen if you could only "fab" a certain number of photos in a week/month, etc. |

Yes a view counter would be a great idea indeed! But surely it would be great as well if every one embraced the idea of fabbing the photos they looked at as well, surely if when you are scanning through the latest photos and you see one that makes you stop and take a better look then the second it takes to press that button and show that you appreciated the photo would encourage them to post more? Xx |

Ah we scan through photos most days and we always fab the ones that make us look twice its a moment of appreciation for the effort made to take the photo xx |

I think there are many reasons why some pics are fabbed more than others
If you have a friends list that is 100s of people long it stands to reason that most of them will fab your pics
If you are online all day or in chat for hrs then thats another reason as people will look at your profile
If you are openly up to meeting a massive range of people with no real preferences in place and come across as extreme hot filth then that will have people slavering over your pics too
If you put a new pic up at certain times of the day that will also mean varying degrees of fabbing
If you're showing your face that will always get more fabs than those with heads cut off
I have to say that the only times ive ever looked at the fabbed pages are when someone has put a joke pic up and people are fabbing to get it to the top for a laugh,ive found that those at the top are'nt usually the type of pics id like,but if I come across something that stands out for me then im always happy to fab it  |

Yes we have to agree with you on most of those points we have noticed that the more smutty the photos are the more likely they are to get the most amount of Fabs, although there are a fair amount that you just have to look at them and wonder why!! Lol xx |

We have never really noticed where they come from but the amount of times we have looked at profiles and seen Scotland and looked to the heavens and cursed our more southern life does not bear thinking about lol xx |

Well I think the photo in question is fantastic and better than a lot of pics.
I like unusual pictures so its really good to see this and it gives me an insight into the people who compose them ie, that they are creative.
I also am somewhat surprised by the pics that are fabbed because the images are duplicated throughout the site and its the same old.
But it is a site showing sexual images and a pic of a gaping vagina will always create more interest than something more artistic. |

We have to agree with you totally on all points we totally love the more thoughtful arty shots especially the ones that leave your mind wandering over what's happening and gives you some small incite into the people you are looking at, they are the photos that leave us wanting to see and know more and it's not impossible to show shots of vagina and for that matter cocks in an arty way just not blown up in its full gory being stretched to death so you can check the amount of fillings in the persons teeth lol |

Yes but having looked at your photos it's pretty obvious that the difference in voting could only be the fact that the woman posted the ones that got the most votes, censorship did not play a part in how people voted as your photos have a quality look to them and the censorship used does not overly distract from the image |

Love the whole idea of fabbed photos, a photo view counter would be a nice addition also if admin sees this.
The more arty shots usually get a fab from us.
Have had a couple of photos fabbed 80 times or so in their first 24hrs but have a way to go to get the 50ish in 12hrs required to get onto the most fabled list.

Unfortunately most on here only regard the sexualy explicit photos as being worth a "fab". A shame as a well taken black and white photo can be extremely erotic and artistic regardless of sexual content. |

Well like others have said I think its purely down to preferences.
Some prefer more natural pics instead of posed and obviously staged.
Im never bothered if ours get fabbed or not as long as my friends abd playmates like them that's all that matters to me. |

The photo which the OP is discussing is, unquestionably, a very good photo. But the 'sad' fact is, just look at the 'most fabbed' section in pics and it is clear what attracts the most attention.
We are as guilty as anyone of pandering to the audience with our profile photo. Perky actually prefers other shots of her, but the one we use is the one which gets the most fabs, so we assume - rightly or wrongly - that that is the one which gets us attention.
We seem to be on the right lines with that assumption as we have noticed that, all the time that one is displayed as our profile pic, we get more people looking at us, and certainly more intro messages.

What a fine debate this is turning into! I must say that we have seen some fabulous mobile phone taken photos on here which certainly have that spur of the moment look about them, and we have been more than happy to fab them because in our eyes they have had an air of thought and you could see an element of the passion of the moment in them, and yes we have some for want of a better word staged photos in ours but then Jayne would never allow me to show her bad side lol but this was all about the cry out as to why some photos that like our friends one stand out from the crowd so much seem to get passed by when a whole new fleshy way of holding twenty or so crayons stands tall above the rest? Xx |

Don't agree with your OH - there is a strong erotic/sexual thread (no pun int) running through each and every one of yours pics - just depends on whether the viewer can see it too. That thread won't appeal to everyone all the time, but such is the nature of subjective appreciation....
