Why do most couples profiles not have many pics of him?

We are a couple looking to meet couples.
It's great for me (the man) because I can really get a guage of the woman in the couple.
But for my wife - There are either no pics of the man or one cursory dick pic or if there are body shots, there's almost 10 of her for every 1 of him. She is starting to find it exasperating.
Of course single men profiles get it right - but are missing the crucial ingredient for us.
Why is this phenomenon occuring do people think? Are we the only people who notice? Genuinely curious about it!

It's always been a common thing on Fab.
Many reasons, but generally fall into a few categories/reasons/excuses.
She's better looking so is the bait.
He takes the photos so can't be in them.
It's mostly she who plays so you don't need to see him.
They're happy to send privately but not have them publicly displayed due to his job.
All of which are pretty much BS reasons and could be worked around, but people will do what people want to do.
And then they'll complain that they're struggling to get meets......

As a broad sweeping generalisation that will certainly not be true in all cases, i think it just tends to be the bloke in a couple who picks up the camera.
There are more pictures of the girls on fab because there are more pictures of the girls taken.

I find it rare to find a male full body picture within a bisexual couples profile also and especially when they are insisting the male must be bi too. I feel somewhat awkward asking for more revealing male pics to accompany the profile but interesting points raised. |

Ink is always an issue. It's rare that I'll ever post an unclothed pic of me on here or anywhere else as it's honestly a major ball ache to edit out.
Fox has some too but much easier for me to work around that.
Easy to take photos together rhough with timers/remotes but you so rarely see much of that on couples profiles - it's often just either him or her.

I also find this, I'm a straight female and trying to find couples where there's not 100 photo's of the female and one cock pic is proving difficult. We would like to couple swap and to do that I need more male pics. The female is not the most important in the couples profile, it should be equal. We've tried to make our profile as equally spread as possible to appeal to both male and female. Just a shame so many couples profiles don't do that.

I think in general, Men tend to be more voyeuristic and Women tend to be more of an exhibitionist, mainly for to society thrusting sexy images of Women at us from every angle. Yeah, I know, not all.
For us though, in short, Mr has far more experience in this scene and as a result, we're here mainly for fun, new thrilling experiences for Mrs.
As we stand, Mr has no intention of joining in with anyone other than Mrs A.
Things may change in time, and well adapt our profile to that, but for now, there's no point, in our opinion in adding pictures mainly of Mr.
Long term, we're looking for a couple for Mrs to meet when Mr is away, the only part Mr will play is being there to see the 'action' the first time or couple of times, until Mrs is happy to meet alone with the couple.

Like many profiles, we are probably top heavy with female in the ratio of Lizzie to Jordan pics, but this has never caused us an issue to meet with couples or females from fab. Aside the club scene, we’ve met plenty of couples and females from fab and had plenty of discussions about our profile and pics but never had any concerns about quota of male pics.
We do have pussy and cock pics, but try to limit these as I’m sure you kind of get the idea what you’re going to get if we meet up and we doubt that no matter how many different angles and backgrounds of my cock you get is going to change your view much.
Instead, in terms of what we have done with our photos, rather than have loads of pics of us, is have a number of pics of us, but then have a number of pics to try and represent our character and personality.
There’s quite a few group pics of us to indicate we’re filthy perverts and like to get down and dirty. But there’s also a lot of pics of different clubs that hopefully indicate that we like to travel, like to party and down for a good time.
We describe ourselves (and sure many would concur) as “Social Butterflies with Dirty Wings”. Hopefully the pics shows a balance of social and filth, two key aspects of the lifestyle, and is contextual to this and supports our written profile.
There is part a reason why we’ve gone down this route with our pics. We met a fantastic gorgeous American couple, living in the North of England, during a visit to Secrets in Devon. They did comment on our profile being very long and felt it was very formal but also on point and clear about us. However, they thought we’d be quite draconian when it come to swinging with lots of rules. However, when they met us they said we weren’t nothing like our profile and thought we were great to kick back with, lively and fun and an interesting contrast to the profile. Conscious of this, and whilst it never caused us any issues, we thought we’d take this feedback and improve our profile and use pics to inject a bit more personality into the profile.
Essentially, we look at it that your profile is your little piece of marketing in the swinging community to describe the people you are, the people you want, what you’re looking for and photos to support this. Of course, you also need a profile to stand out if you want people to come and look for you (unless you prefer to search, but still they will likely look at your profile and want to see something of interest and effort).
That’s our approach and view OP. Hope it helps towards quenching the curiosity. |

Unpopular opinion here - but I believe the reason why a lot of couples profiles have little to no pictures of the male half is because deep down he may know he’s clearly punching above his weight being with his partner. This whole the male “not being photogenic” thing to me is a cop out.
9 times out of 10 these profiles are ALWAYS run by the man who’ll have you jumping through all kinds of hoops. But heck, who am I to tell people how they should run their account, if it works for them then so be it. |

From a fairly ‘new couple’ perspective, seeing everyone else’s amazing pics can be a bit overwhelming to start with and can make both the male and female ‘compare’ or worry what others might think about how they look.

Not entirely the case, all our bi couple friends have equal photos of both on their profile.
But to add our opinion, it’s quite deflating when the Mrs’s photos get fabbed at a rate of 100/1 compared to the Mr’s - why put yourself through it? There’s plenty of us together, but we limit solo pics. |

Okay I get it about 1 taking a pic, there are such things as timers and Bluetooth remotes though. But surely if 1 half of the couple is in a pic because the other is taking it, is it inconceivable for them to take turns ?

I think people think the female sells the profile, but as you say that's not the cause for many we want a clear view of the male half of the couple too

This question/point been raised many times and one of the most curious replies I saw was along the lines of... so excuse my paraphrasing...
Many - of course not all - couples meet other couples just 'get the girl'. They'd really like a MFF but as those are rarer than hen's teeth meeting another couple is the only realistic alternative so they tolerate the other males just purely to have the females. With this mindset they, maybe even subconsciously, leave the male off the pics as the 'more attractive' female will lure the other female in along with her 'tolerated' male.
As I say that theory intrigued me so simply make your own minds up on its validity. |

I, we, would object to this theory, granted not yours as whilst we enjoy a MFF, our preference is a MFFM. We prefer the dynamics of a foursome and very easy to create these MFF or even MFM in this arrangement.
Both are fun and have different dynamics but the couples we have met and played with, have been on the same page as us and each other and haven’t tolerated a one for the team approach for their own personal needs. Has to be something for everyone individually, as couples, and the whole group.

It was one of the things we wanted to ensure we done when we started - have pics of us both.
It’s up to the couple how they run their profile - we’ve heard various reasons why Mr isn’t on the account but if both are playing, then it makes sense for people to make it easier for themselves.
We just bypass the profiles that don’t fit to what we are looking for.

Thanks everyone for contributing, it's been a really eye-opening read for us. Great to see that we're not alone in needing to see both members of a couple before deciding if we're attracted or not.
Some people have rightly mentioned that people can do in their profiles as they please - quite so!
I must confess that I've recently discovered how few candid day-to-day photos there of me to use for normal life face-pics for this very reason - that I take most of the pictures. So that's a project for us to solve soon!

To tell the truth, I (Mr) hate taking photos of myself so don't have pictures to post, I shy away from every camera that is ever pointed at me, so that's why there's not many of me on our profile, I am now getting better and I am feeling more confident so more pictures are getting added regularly, as for her only doing the playing so that's why we only had pictures of mrs friendly isn't a bullshit reason, as that's how it started off, I wasn't playing at all, but wanted to be included. |

Our profile is very heavy on the side of female pics. Our reason is because hubby works shifts and sometimes when he’s at work and I’m home alone I get bored and I like to get dressed up and take lots of naughty pics lol

As a bi curious male I like to see what both partners look like. If hubby is just a voyeur it's not so important but if for example he's a cock worshipping cuckold I'd still want to know what he looks like. So if a profile has no pics of him I steer clear.

For us we feel that photos are the teaser, you get a little view of us, but mostly of Athena because that’s who both men and women want most? For us partially it is because we want to appeal to the single straight men as well. Also there are alot of ways to show a woman off, different body parts, nude and different lingerie whereas more than 1 or 2 cock pics is repetitive and pointless. However as we are trying to attract more straight couples we do have a few cock pics as well as a couple of videos to show him off x |

Weve just in process of revamping the public bit of our profile , cant really show top half body of Mr W&W as he has numerous and very regrecognisable tattoos and we would rather it not be so obvious who we are. What do people think so far of revamp ?? Still a bit samey or ok ??  |

We try to maintain a reasonable balance.
As a couple looking for other couples, where Mrs is far more selective than Mr, we're never going to get anywhere if she can't see "what she's letting herself in for". We're not interested in taking one for the team, we want there to be mutual attraction between all involved.
I'd imagine this is the case for most couples but couldn't see it posted yet so thought I'd throw in our two pence!

As a couple looking for other couples, where Mrs is far more selective than Mr, we're never going to get anywhere if she can't see "what she's letting herself in for". We're not interested in taking one for the team, we want there to be mutual attraction between all involved.
I'd imagine this is the case for most couples but couldn't see it posted yet so thought I'd throw in our two pence!
Mr expects pics of Mrs to get more fabs - certainly nothing to be salty about, in fact it's a bit of a turn on "

There are so many accounts without or with very few male pics. I’m sure it must be working for those couples to tun their account in that way or surely they’d change it?
We tend to have quite a few of Mr and lots of us together, as well as the ones of Mrs. we’ve got a remote control tripod and a ring light that we use from time to time… x |

We enjoy taking pics together and try to put up as many balanced pics as possible. It's a real issue that most couples only show female pics - Mrs EK is straight, so looking through fab is a nightmare. She much prefers clubs so she can actually see the couple.

This exactly… we try and have equal pics but most are in friends only .. if we are interested in a couple we send face pics with first message.. but we are not to everyone’s taste .. |

We find this frustrating too. It’s usually one of the main reasons couples will be a ‘no’ for us.
There are a couple of me on here in public, we have face photos of us both in private and we are hoping to get a few more of Cherry, of me and of us together this weekend.
The fact there aren’t more of me on here is because our profile is a ‘work in progress’, there will be more soon we promise.

We are a couple and yep all pics are mainly of me. But if we have a message then happy to send his pics or forward his single profile. Its then you find out who is really interested and not just wanting pics. |

I have wondered about this also when it's the guy who is BI or straight but messages me about meeting up.
Occasionally it's the female controlling the profile and I've found them much more open and honest about what they want for the male Bi/straight guys rarely have their pictures on public/ private display but ask for a face pic in the first message. |

We have pics of both of us, as we're both plus size and not most people's cup of tea so it's better to be upfront ahead of anyone messaging us, I think. We we're going for an upfront enough profile that anyone who came across us would know what to expect from both of us before they message/reply. Not sure the ratio of pics, might be more of me but if there is, it was unintentional

Men don’t tend to get fabbed much in our experience or chatted to which is a shame if we fab a couples profile it’s a mixture of both but definitely less male pics as it’s generally the female they want to look at  |

Probably so meny factors and for so many reasons why you find a low/no male half in a couple profile.
Now we've seen it from an aspect of both been single prior to having a relationship with a joint couple profile.
Both when he was single be it a bit younger than he is now with a good selection of tastefully and artistic shots and now on our joint profile there is very little in the way of comments of appreciation or or picture likes in the way of fabs.
On a very rare occasion he will get back a picture fab from a demographic we/he is not into (gay male, cd, TV, ts) and it gets to the point where both the stigma and the swing culture don't like or appear to appreciate it?
In clubs it used to be not so bad but of late Mrs F will get lots of good comments and very rarely will anyone even comment on Mr F? Don't understand why but that is just the way it is.

We have more public pictures of Daddy than of me. But the private content is different.
Saw a few posts say that male pictures don’t get much attention (not my experience however as Daddy’s photos get a lot of attention!), even so you need to have some on a couples profile. Also a picture of you together. |
