Without blowing my own trumpet (forgive the pun)

To quell all these doubters you need to photograph it from a distance to remove false perspective and include an object to provide a standardised unit of scale.
For years the common option has been a red bull can, turned to show volume, to ensure you don't claim its a 458ml can when you're actually using a 250ml one.
