She should definitely have been much gentler with you.
Boys and girls: play with your own ass using fingers and a variety of toys before you decide to go and meet someone for anal sex. Its called ass training (look it up!) and its pretty crucial. You need to teach your ass to relax before you can get adventurous about what you stick up there, otherwise, you will just end up in pain.
