I can't really answer that, as different people want to receive different messages. However, I'm not sure that having a template you copy and paste for every 1st message is a good idea. You can usually tell when someone's done that. |

Yeah I get that totally just feel it’s hard to start a conversation and break the ice with just a hi how’s things etc . X must be a polite way to make a start with out sounding dull ans coming across as lacking effort lol ? |

I try to take bits from their profile and respond to them in my opening message - can be hard to not fall into a pattern with them but I think it’s important not to template it too much!
My success rate is fairly low though, so probably not the best to take advice from. |
