Just finished reading 50 shades! Wow I'm amazed and seriously wet! I'm looking for a couple to take control of me like Mr Grey and make me submit completely to them! Anyone up for it!

Glad you enjoyed the books. Personally I hate them with a passion, you should try reading story of O it's a far better read and written a long time ago by a women but for years people thought it was a man due to how hardcore the book was for the times.

i think anyone who has any reference to 50 shade at all, including naming themselves Mr Grey on their profile should be banned from the sit for having no imagination

Because there are some idiots that have come into bdsm because of the books... Guys that think because they have read the book they have experience.. then ask to dominate you.

Or women that think that its going to be like the book... the fet sites are full of wannabe mr greys currently and women that will make easy targets for the abusive guys.

I've read the story of O and it was much better than 50 Shades. Another good one was the Dom who Loved Me but I read them as stories not for the bdsm lol

See that is okay.. but its when people read them and treat them as gospel or like the story of O.. almost a bible for bdsm.. makes my blood boil.

Hmm okay fair enough. I see where your coming from it can be dangerous. But I personally would only partake in such activities after setting clear rules and only after knowing the person for a little while.

OMG - I thought it was drivel and a total insult to the intelligence. Written like the worst kind of tawdry Mills and Boon with BDSM thrown in.

Way better stuff on the net in terms of Erotic Literature.

This is why I refuse to read it. When it first become popular I asked a couple of friends who wrote Erotica for a few websites whether it was any good and they said it was really badly written. According to them any half decent erotica website has hundreds of stories covering the same kind of subject but done far better. But I guess a large number of the people who like the books so much would never have thought of reading erotica (on the web or elsewhere) if it wasn't suddenly 'fashionable'.

Personally have no interest in reading them. However the better half has and although not overly impressed herself it has given her a few ideas. Fits in nicely with me wanting to be dominated.

to be fair everyone has to start somewhere...

the mass ingress into the 'scene' the net brought about has included many many dreamers and the 'i demand a shag straight away cos its a swingers site' types..

and also some lovely folk..

some will dip their toes into the fet / sub dom scene and will have a great time on the back of reading that shite yes..

and yes its a real pain in the arse the amount of instant doms there are..

we actually block anyone who contacts us with any reference...

Haha, indeed.

I get messages saying "I want to try being a sub". OK, go clean my car and we'll talk about it.

Funnily that's not what they were expecting.

Worst excuse of Literature I have ever come across. The writing is very poor; even the author admits it. It only got big because it was advertised as Twilight fan fiction so loads of kids got the eBook, then the parents did and it just went from there.

There are much better erotic novels out there that aren't a rip off of a novel of equally shit standards.

But it is all about opinion. If people think it is good writing then get a hold of the early 19th century erotic novels that come from France; you'll be blown away. Now THAT is how the erotic genre should be done.

Then again I'm more so slightly annoyed at seeing everyone rave over this book yet ignore all the classics/world changing books of the past. People suddenly love reading once this comes out, now the trend is dead they are all back to watching TOWIE etc. shame how this country has turned out considering this is the home of Dickens, Woolf etc etc etc

As I said though, if the author herself says the quality is very poor and that she is amazed of its success...then it usually is a load of crap.

Shit I forgot about that. I might have to book a holiday to my mates in NL for a month or so when that happens. There will also be three films won't there? Looks like I'm not staying in England much next year haha

Worst thing I've read since a Dan Brown novel I once read, just to see what the fuss was about ! He can insult your intelligence quite easily as well.

Only read 50 Shades of Shite so I could slag it off with impunity

James and Brown (not James Brown ) write books for people that don't read, basically !

I don't think you can blame the books for people trying to follow them as a bible for bdsm, that lies with the person themselves. Surely anyone with any intelligence would research the topic properly before taking to thier partners backside with a paddle. I read 120 days of Sodom but didn't take to locking children in a Bastille with me and a load of mates !!! Although anything by the Marquis de Sade is worth a read as long as people don't start changing thier name to justine !!

Hi mrs bedford 555 here:

I personally think it is boring and very badly written - it's just too tame for me.

I like proper erotic literature and

much prefer "The Initiation of Miss Holly" by KD Grace!!

i (fem) wonder if ppl with reference to the daft famous books realized by now:

ppl NOT into BDSM are not interested in them (a discussion proofed that in the forum) as they not into it

ppl INTO BDSM are not interested for obvious reasons

Classic catch 22 LOL.....
