Any idea why people set up new profiles, seemingly on a weekly basis but with the same photos?
I keep stumbling across a couple I’d rather forget but sure as shit, they’re back on a new account every time I think they’ve gone.
I just find it odd |

We weren't aware that this was a thing until recently.
We got chatting to a 'couple' profile and then after some back and forth another 'couple' profile messaged us saying they were the womans account and the 1st account was the guys.
Had different names and photos, only 1 photo was on both accounts.

As others have said its probably to get around blocks and bans? I had one chap repeatedly message me off one profile so i blocked it, he messaged from his second. Blocked that. Third profile same. So folk do have multiple profiles or delete and come back to continue with the bs. |

Happens a lot in my feed too, same pictures similar if not same name about every 2-3 days. Another one who just repeatedly deletes and uploads the same pic everyday so god knows how old that is now  I just find it a source of entertainment now, everyone uses the site how they please I guess |

Sometimes it's men pretending to be couples or women. They might get a ban or the wife might come back from bingo early, so he deletes in case she finds the profile.
Could be people asking for money or illegal substances and getting banned.
Women can get loads of creepy messages on a new profile and they may delete in horror.
You can filter messages so you don't get any from new profiles less than 7 days. That can stop people making new profiles to get round blocks, if that's a problem for you. |

There is a couple's profile that keeps appearing in my 'local updates' on an almost weekly basis...
....each time it uses a selection of three or four pics from a batch of about a dozen, whilst the username is always a slight variation on the previous ones...
....after a day or two the latest version seems to vanish, and then along comes the next reincarnation...  |

It could be a number of reasons. Including trying to get around limits imposed by fab. If you think something is suspicious, report it to Admin, explaining it.
Some single men also try to pretend to be a couple too. |

We have one on our local updates. We block every week. So our acutal block list probably has 3 on, the other 400 is this one persons profile. 
I think quickest I've blocked the new profile is it being 2 mins old. |
