Living an open life without secrets

We’ve been prompted to post this as we get a lot of males telling us the same thing.
“So impressed with your openness “
“Wish my girlfriend would be that open”
“I want to do what you guys do but my girlfriend doesn’t “
You get the idea.
Here our take on this but firstly, we are not here to judge people, you live your life however you want to.
To live an open lifestyle, firstly be honest with yourself and your partner. If you want to do something she doesn’t want to then either your not compatible or your lying to yourself and your partner.
In an open lifestyle you should be able to always be yourself and never have any secrets. If you have to lie to get what you want, that means your only lying to yourself as well as the person your meant to love.
Be honest, be open, be yourself and don’t care what others think because it’s your life not theirs.
Find compromise, and both should want the same thing in life. Love conquers all, lies kills love and produces hate.

If I was 100% honest about certain people and situations I wouldn't have any friends.
The people who wish their girlfriends were open and honest probably aren't themselves or they'd be having the conversation with them rather than you. |

Beautifully written OP I share you take on this aswell, I have found in the past that people that dont like my openness and honesty about my lifestyle generally turn out not to be my sort of people in the end. |

In a perfect world this would be so true. Sadly too many too scared to actually talk to each other often through fear of judgement. Would rather support someone who was 100% honest about what they want etc than someone who constantly lied and hid things from a so called loved one. Yes often they may not get the answers they wanted but sometimes they might be surprised and things turn out for the better

This is us down to a tee OP. We found each other after being in bad relationships with others and never looked back.   |

Do you mean open with each other or to the whole world?
Each other is an easier prospect than the world.
Unfortunately in a world that is very judgemental, it's just not possible to maintain family relationships and professional careers and be open about this lifestyle. Not everyone can or wants to abandon those that are narrow minded for a free spirited world, nor can they afford it really. |
