so instead of typing a & you write amp?
how does that make any sence at all lol
if your typing amp you may as well just type and its the same amount of letter  |

Its a bug in fab.. if you put the & symbol in your status or in your profile header it glitches and puts amp followed or preced by some random symbols.
Its been doing it for years..we can't work out why they have not fixed it. |

That's what I thought! And actually when you see it, its normally in the header, I've seen things like 'looking for girls, couples & amp, amp, amp' ???? I thought it might be something to do with amateur porn?? |

As others have stated it is a site glitch and the correct name for the symbol is "Ampersand" and it represents the shortened form of the "and" symbol.
I think its been covered many times in the forums before.

Its not a bug, its due to websites that take info from users 'cleaning' the data so that no malicious code is input which could be used to hack or disrupt the site. Lots of symbols and non alpha numeric characters would do similar things... |
