"I know you aren’t judging but the need to label everything. If one day a guy actually quite fancies a TV or a bit of cock then all power to them. Nobody ever says to a straight female “why are you listed as straight if you have licked a pussy” Life is about experience, intrigue, exploration and many many other things. " I agree with you, hence why I'm asking the question. I'm just curious if a guy can class himself as straight if he has an interest in TV. IMO he's kidding himself.

If you asked a guy if they went both ways in a club it will mostly be a response that will get them laid easier. Do you not want to meet a guy Thst is bi / tv as you feel the health risk is greater ? Or simply the thought of cock on cock is a turn off and you woujd imagine the guy with a cock plsy … though this becomes off fab in a club

"It ultimately becomes subjective where a person classifies themselves when talking about attraction to an individual with both male and female traits. Does it mean you're straight or bi? Either category is valid really, and it's seems more and more like sexual preference is a spectrum rather than categories, which may even change over time imo. I think, another issue is the categorisation of TV and TS together. They aren't the same thing." Nice to see a well rounded thought out response on a forum

I'm talking more in terms of society as a whole. Ultimately, what I'm trying to say is that society doesn't really know how to classify new gender identities and a multitude of emerging sexual preference categories yet, and as it's all relatively new, it's a confusing subject for everyone. There is no 'right' answer.

"Gay men who sleep or have ever slept with a woman can no longer for the rest of their lives call themselves gay. They’re bisexual as how could they sleep with a woman and not be a bit straight ? You may have only done it once, not enjoyed it, actually realised during the act it wasn’t for you but merely by doing it, you are now bisexual. Yes Elton John I’m looking at you. It’s easy for me to decide someone else’s sexuality I generally just leave it to them to decide. "

"I would consider myself to be in this group somewhat but I've done my own reflecting and now identify as Gynosexual. I feel like this more accurately reflects me in that I am attracted to fem features. I don't find men or masculinity attractive or arousing at all but there are some trans people on here who are very attractive! Some men might still be bound by the toxic masculinity that is wrapped around them from day one and sadly they aren't the easiest bonds to break. That will likely keep men in the mindset that they are straight and unwilling to accept that they can exist as anything other than this.. C x" Like what you like, but the clue is in the word "sexual". It's about the person sex rather than their features.

You have sexual intercourse - that is, having relations through your sex. If the other person have the same sex as you then it's a same sex relation.

Yes and that's part of the problem, that these classifications are not defined and therefore open to interpretation. If you change gender, it's doesn't change your sexual preference of course but it could be argued that it changes the definition of the nature of the relationship between people, and that in turn depends on how we are recognising gender.

It's fucking nonsense. Name calling makes you sound about 12. The law recognises trans women as women but they are not the same in every shape and form as a woman. If they were, there would be nothing to transition from or to. Nothing that I have said above, in any way, supports someone being disrespected by a guy on here. Regardless of who you are or how you identify, if a man wouldn't be seen in public with you, tell him to get to fuck.

The most honest responses have always been about risk levels. When I've questioned who is the greater risk - the bi curious guy who sucks cock a couple of times a year, the bisexual guy who practices safe sex with both men and women, the straight guy who fucks anything with a pulse without protection or the woman who has unprotected oral with multiple guys weekly.......I never seem to get an answer. They aren't the same thing. But doesn't words have meaning? Am I a millionaire by just feeling that I am? Isn't one's sexuality objectively relates to who they have sex with? One can change gender but not sex. People are heterosexual, homosexuality, bisexual or asexual. Not homogendual or bigendual. And that is not passing judgement, go ahead and live your best life but language exist. Yes and that's part of the problem, that these classifications are not defined and therefore open to interpretation. If you change gender, it's doesn't change your sexual preference of course but it could be argued that it changes the definition of the nature of the relationship between people, and that in turn depends on how we are recognising gender. Gender is about whether you present masculine or feminine. Sex is about what reproductive function nature had planned for you. It's in every cell in your body and cannot be changed. Sexual intercourse- the key is in the word "sex". Same sex, opposite sex, or both sexes. Presentation doesn't matter. So in your opinion, does a trans person present as masculine or feminine? That's not opinion. Isn't that what Transitioning is all about? One is trying to change their appearance/behaviour to appear to be the opposite sex by taking on the stereotypical phenotype of the opposite sex? I don't really understand what point you're trying to make. Think we're now disputing the semantics of the language being used." I don't think we have a dispute really

And do you know what? I think it would be easier for a guy to come out as gay than Bi. Ridiculous, but true... yet Bi women are seen totally differently, and even more ridiculous is plenty of women who dont like Bi guys are Bi themselves, that i find funny!

We don't have gender intercourse, we have sexual intercourse. A TV/TS do not lose their biological sex so a man being attracted to one is clearly same sex attracted. It's not that difficult really " First of all, Transsexuals and transvestites are not exactly the same. Let me be clear, being TS isn’t a choice. Research on gender dysphoria and what it means to not feel at home in the body You were assigned at birth. And regarding not being able to change biology, that’s technically incorrect, trans people actually undergo a change of second sex characteristics (with hormones and surgery) and first sex characteristics (with surgery) Genetic, yeah you can’t change the chromosomes (do people really care?!) and can’t have some parts with surgery (the uterus, for time being) But there’s a lot of trans women who either are lucky genetically , or start very young in their transition. Who are perceived by people as any other girls and unless they say.. none would know. That’s deep stealth (a lot go stealth) Now, the dilemma of what is somebody? Partly why there’s so much stigma about dating a trans person, it’s stuff like this. I totally get genital preference! But after sex reassignment surgery (having a vaginoplasty - and yes they look amazing vag) then that’s a different story and there *could* be some transphobia rooted if you liked the person, before she said “btw I’m trans” I don’t care what my partners sexuality is, but majority identifies as straight. I have slept with quite a good amount who never slept with a trans woman before (and never entertained the idea), and they just found me attractive and saw me for me and that was enough. For anyone interested, there’s plenty of vids on YouTube of lovely girls (Maya Henry, Caroland, Mathilda Hogberg, Emma Ellingsenn are all perfect example. 3 are post op) who shared their journey etc and also, from guys who are openly trans-amorous/attracted and what it means for them. We need more guys to openly talk about it That’s all folks !

It means intercourse (contact/ relations) with the sexual organ of at least one participant. It's called a sexual organ because it relates to your sex. To make it simple, if you are having sexual intercourse with someone of the same sex, it's homosexual (Greek homos = same) sexual intercourse.

"A lot of opinions, and it's great that people are at least talking about it. My question to those who are of the opinion "if you want to try a TV/TS then you're bi" does that mean a vegetarian who deep down wants a bacon sandwich and slips up just once means they're forever a carnivore? Or can anyone who has eaten meat ever be able to call themselves a vegan/vegetarian? Of course not. They make life choices and try their best to live by them. Another question - does a man being pegged or sucking a strap on by a woman make them bi or gay? My opinion - people's sexuality can change with age, experience and sometimes just attraction. Not all experiences with CD/TV/TS have to end up with penetrative sex. And just like food, sometimes you have to try these things just to see if you like it or not. People should be judged on who they are right now, not on their past, as its those experiences that make them the person they are today." This can be a difficult decision because often times people get the feeling that they are being judged. Happily I don't see any judging going on here. That said, naming phenomena is an function of language so we know what we are talking about when we converse. The question you post is not a black and white one. Can someone have gay sex and be considered straight? Does temporal proximity matters? I'll leave that to brighter people than myself

"I guess you can take it further - if a man fucks a woman up the arse does that make them gay/bi because that's something they could do with a man? My thoughts are if you're male and find someone feminine presenting attractive then you are not gay or bi, you're attracted to the femininity so are heterosexual. How you enjoy each other sexually can be replicated in most ways with a cis-female (if not all ways in the case of a post-op TS). For me the change to bisexual or homosexual occurs if a man finds masculine presenting people attractive, but that then becomes very subjective on how masculine or feminine someone has to be before the line is drawn..." I think Sam, it’s much about how someone is perceived externally. Does the guy (or the girl) sees and perceives you as the gender you are (im not making it about urself , just in general) ? Then they are straight As said, does a Hetero woman of trans experience with a vagina, who never gets seen as anything other than, sleeps with Hetero men who find her attractive and doesn’t tell she’s trans (okay unethical) and they don’t realise.. are they all suddenly become gay? Without them realising? Hell na. For disclosure, I don’t condone that but it happens!

I think language loses it's utility when the speakers of said language feel free to have their own meaning for words. When this happens we end up talking past each other. A masculine woman (sex that produces large gametes) is still a woman and vice versa. Bodies have sex. We have sex with bodies and not presentation. It is a fact, not my opinion, that the homo in homosexual come from the Greek word homos. Homos means same. Sexual intercourse only requires the involvement of the genital on one of the participant. Between people of the same sex is homosexual sex. And that is OK. People should be honest with themselves.

" I think the OP was referring to "straight" men who KNOWINGLY fuck tv/ts.

For me the change to bisexual or homosexual occurs if a man finds masculine presenting people attractive, but that then becomes very subjective on how masculine or feminine someone has to be before the line is drawn... " You're a smart cookie

"Careful now… don’t upset the wokes…" Define 'wokes' ? Because that's usually a statement made when someone doesn't have anything beneficial to contribute to a discussion and often signifies that it's them getting upset rather than whoever the consider the 'wokes' to be. A

"I suppose it's how you look at it. Are they chicks with dicks or men with tits I've never ventured into it but some are very feminine and beautiful in appearance. The question could be asked if the straight guy indulged in the TS manhood or not or are there options. Interesting topic tho. But let no one judge" Some are chick with vaginas (made from surgery) Btw deciding not to have THE surgery doesn’t make them less women or less valid. The identity goes right at the core. How do you know ur self identity as a man (or as a woman)? If some men on here suddenly lost their penis would their identity shift to woman? No. Your self perception will remain the same Its like you just know and that goes the same for trans women and trans men who knew their identity didn’t match with their sex at birth. It’s just something difficult to grasp as a concept to people whose sex and gender align
