I agree with Max, sounds like it wasn’t their house and were on the wind up!
So many time wasters on here, I was chatting with a guy for weeks, arranged a date, asked for address and he said I’ll give you it tomorrow lunch time, I thought that was odd! Anyhow as you can guess, it never came! Deleted and blocked! |

I was waiting to meet someone for a social in the pub. I was texting him as I couldn't see him and he said he was in a different pub. I waited. He texted to say he had arrived at the correct pub but couldn't find me. He said he was outside front and back, downstairs still couldn't find me. Turns out he was never there at all. A really weird experience. He messed me about for an hour. |

Thee are also some people who live pretty close to me.
I net them about 3 years ago.
After that they tried to get me to come to theirs then went offline just at the time of meet.
I obviously don't believe them any more |

Social in public is the way everything.
If they moan on their profile about socials ,sending a genuine face picture,or otherwise I would avoid and move on swiftly.
So many red flags to watch out for that do pop up most of the time.
Simple common rule,when somebody does wish to meet you,they will make it easy for you to contact them and honour the meet up.
So so many things that happen,yet we over ride our Gutt/instincts giveing way too many chances and regard to some whom don't value other's time,efforts etc.

We had someone turn up at our house, saying they'd be told they'd find "fun". We've never given our address to anyone on Fab. It's not funny when people give out random addresses etc  |

Not off of fab so far.
A mate introduced me to chatlines etc.
Thought I would give it go being full of beans and Spontaneous at times too.
Got chatting with a bird, she was near Peterborough exchanged numbers. All good she text me her adresse for that evening etc to meet up.
I text iam on my way,headed up the A1 North bound.
As I got to the adresse. A lady in a wheel chair came to throw her rubbish out. I politely mentioned the name given and adresse, she clearly was not her.
I waited afew mins then rang the mobile number.no answer not text back.
As I left and headed back on the A1 heading southwards homebound.
I got abusive texts saying what an idiot and other vile statements came streaming in.
I pulled over replied at least I turned up as I did,got nothing to hide in looks or otherwise.
Then I blocked all the texts and calls inbound.
So many story's like that out there!! |

Same phone chatline years ago got chatting flow convo etc. Found out the bird lived in Hip Camden! I used to rave there and go to the jazz cafe and many comedy venues.
So knew the area well.
Arranged to meet up outside the Camden tube station opposite Superdrug in London.
Iam standing there all Smart casual as per usual.
Iam looking about like a 360 camera. Where is this fit sounding bird iam meant to be meeting here.
I decided to call her mobile, hello hello iam here,described what I was wearing etc. " she spoke " it sounded different in a very weird spooky way. She goes to say look straight ahead of you, iam her!!!
I looked dead ahead of me, my heart sank and hit the pavement,I felt sick,dirty,yukky mad,angry just to name afew emotions at that very point.
It was a very smil Bloke dressed like a Woman. With a wig and an Adams apple sticking out. And shave line on the face.
He insisted me name and call her She!!
Omg I so wanted to belt him/IT/her with punches. I looked up there were camera's everywhere being Camden and central London.
I turned around and walked off to the tube station.
I felt so dirty and many emotions.
Took many weeks to get over that experience!!

Yup. Taxi to someone’s house. They just gave street name not the door number, as they wanted to be discreet.
I arrived. Next was an hour of them saying “I’ll be there in a minute”. Ordering me to walk up and down the street, saying stand by certain cars etc. they were clearly watching from a window somewhere having a wank or something |
