I read the OP that it's odd that one show itself, it's only couples wanting to add another woman, not add another guy. Think even though they are trying to break taboos, they still can't admit that girls like sex just as much as guys.

Yes me and my husband thought this too. We're willing there to be more mfm or couples swaps on there. It feels like most of them don't even get past the stage of chatting and playing games with the dice either. |

One of the couples did want another man to join them as the male of the couple wanted to watch. When they did the games he got jealous and decided he wanted another couple to join them instead. |

In my opinion it’s just another badly scripted show where everyone is there to become a “celebrity” and be discovered.
All the guys from the couples who visit seem to be emotionally immature and not very experienced sexually.
The “acting” of the sex scenes has to be seen to be believed  |

I was really looking forward to this show but after watching all 6 I thought it was a poor effort tbh
Very staged and poor "casting" but I may watch the next series to see if they improve it but i won't be holding my breath  |

Put simply, even though shows like this market themselves as "groundbreaking" and "challenging mainstream ideas" about love, sex and relationships, etc... it's still the safest and most pallatable method of exposing ENM / polyamory to the mainstream. It's the heterosexual thruple, the two ladies and one man, because that's the least threatening to the Status Quo, and therefore the most used PR / image for ENM / polyamory dynamics.

I'm only halfway through the series, but I agree. It seems like most of the meat, the work done with the expert, has been cut from the show to focus on the "fun" bits - the sex parties. The result is a rather shallow show all about the looks and glamour, rather than being more intellectual and educational on the subject matter. |

We said the same. Same with Naked Attraction, there have been couples looking for a female, but never a couple looking for a male. That would be a way more fun show to us, seeing her eyes light up as the screen goes up, all the innuendo aimed a what they are looking for… |

Like a lot of folk have already written, it has been produced for palatable mainstream audience and therefore for people like us it seems tame. We came to the conclusion that it's all younger people who are generally more open and want to be in the limelight and have their 5 min of fame. Us older and wiser folk are less inclined to discuss our sexual desires on National TV.  The one message of advise that prevails with each episode is that couples should communicate their emotions and desires with each other. I think Precious is chosen all the time because it is set up that way. She is the one that is the most flirty and also clever at manipulating the couples in create the desired reaction from the couples.  |

We've found that it's another car crash programme. Designed to make the swinging community look odd and broken.
Each couple have had issues or were hugely inexperienced in life. Then the "expert" sends them off to separate room swaps. Surprisingly most have issues with that scenario, bearing in mind that lots of long term swingers don't like separate room.
Then they're sent away with instructions on how to fix their relationship.

As much as its a fair few steps from reality, I thought some of the emotional challenges the couple encountered while exploring were familiar. And coz it's pretty fluffy and easy to consume I've def signposted a few of my monogamous friends at it if they want to better understand mine and hubby's decision to open our marriage. |
