Everyone wants to meet until it’s time to meet then the excuses come out.

What’s the worst excuse you have heard?

I'm sorry to have to be the bringer of bad news op but when your chatting to someone your both exploring the possibility of meeting up . when the time came to decide if they wanted to meet you . They changed there mind and to try and spare any drama or hurt to your feeling they came up with a teason why not to meet you .all the excuse was, was a polite way of saying thanks but no thanks .

But hay what do I know they could just have been being mean to you getting your hopes up for the fun of it but somehow I doubt that was the case .

Your ll experience more once you have been on here for a few months by then I’m sure you would of come across a number of timewasters

Best we had was a couple cancelling as we were driving to theirs !. We were in touch with them separately on different platforms and they each gave a completely different excuse for cancelling !?

. One said their son had appeared unexpectedly, the other that she wasn't feeling well

. They then proceeded to mess us around that weekend so added to our huge block list.

Another, a local couple. Everything looked good, verifications, profile, chat. The meet time approached and still no address

. 30 minutes before the meet time I had no choice but to put pressure on and then the answer came..... YOU ARE BACKUP JUST INCASE THE OTHER COUPLE DON'T APPEAR. Block list grew again, Cherry had soent ages getting ready for the bastards.

We'd of just turned it into date night, and had a good time by ourselves. Their loss, blocked, and forgotton.

I think the main excuse we get is "still stuck at work". We post meets with a time frame say 12 to 2. Not for everyone, but we have vanillia lives, shifts and school runs, to work around.

Heres a thought, if the meet starts at 12, you should be leaving work by 11am. If you don't normally leave at that time don't accept our offer. 11am gives you time to go home, shower and get to us on time.

Mind you I suppose it's better than ghosting and no contact. Then messaging from another account, asking why they are blocked?

Time is limited people need to understand that.

I turned up to the meet on time he text to say that he was running 5 minutes late but would be with me, half an hour passed I was still waiting he text again saying that he had driven over a pot hole and it blew his tyre so would get it fixed and be with me.

Needless to say he never turned up. Now I wait 20 minutes at the very most

20 minutes is more then enough I do the same.

We did block and had a backup plan, Infusions in Blackpool

I guess everyone has their agenda. And as this site mirrors real life you get the good with the bad. Personally I would always be truthfull if I couldn't make a meet. Proberly would not agree in the first place if there was a chance I could not make it. Simple morality.
