What’s people’s views on paying towards a hotel room if someone already had a room and asks you to pay towards it. I think £10 is ok not when people ask for £30+ when the room only cost £60 and you just going to fuck and go not stay the night lol

I’ve always worked on the principle that if I’m the one booking the room and staying in it for the night, then I’m hosting and I wouldn’t expect any contribution. Would be nice if the one the person/people brought something though, maybe a bottle of wine or something .

I have seen advertised hotel meets asking for multiple men to come and then a request for a contribution to the room from each.

I often wonder how close that is to prostitution as once two or three men have paid their "Contribution" you are probably passed the cost of the room

I think going halves is a reasonable thing to do if you are meeting for a meet.

If it is a group thing then anything more than a tenner would indicate that they are looking to make a profit - which is not cool.

If I've booked the room and staying overnight, I would never ask someone I've asked to join me to contribute x

That’s right if two people are planning a night together go halves and if more no more then tenner we’ll said

I wouldn’t ask someone to contribute to a room we had booked but I would offer half of someone else booked a room.

I don’t ask for a contribution to the hotel cost. Just seems a bit petty

The other thing is some people make crazy requests for you to bring to the meet like certain drinks or substances

You do realise you’re free to say no. If you don’t want to jump through hoops you don’t have to.

I don’t see a problem bringing a bottle of wine or a few beers if someone is accommodating but I don’t think they should be asking for it.

As long as the beans are post meet and not pre. Nobody wants a farty meet

If I'm hosting then I always pay. I don't take anything from them but I do appreciate when they offer. Most usually bring the drinks instead which is a fair compromise I guess.

Tin town

Is it so complicated.? I mean you're being saved the laundry bill and cleaning up before and after... A few drinks and chipping in a bit for a great night in a hotel room doesn't seem unreasonable...
