I rarely message anyone and those that I do tend to be people I banter with in the Forums.
Any meets I have had have (to date) always stemmed from someone contacting me. |

as was said on another thread
lots of ladies wait for the guys to message them and then whinge that they are not what they want.
bit like sending your oh for a tin of beans and complaining when he comes back with the wrong brand 
if the ladies did the looking then may be they would find the right guys a lot easer |

Never messaged first before, unless people from the forums...I may occasionally, twice to date since being on the site, browse profiles or meet section and send a wink if I like a profile. |

It's a kind of conundrum really - because women and couples are so sought after , there appears to be no need for them to actively seek what they desire on here !
Then they whinge about wrong types contacting them , not reading their profile etc..... So why not search and find suitable folk ?
Complacency ?
Not sure really , but we now seek out and message folk aswell as reading and replying to interesting messages too  |

I was always the type of girl to wait for the messages.
But after one of these threads about a month ago, I decided to be proactive and winked half a dozen guys who I liked the look of.
Two hours later I was having some of the best sex ever with the very hot guy who answered first!

When we very first started swinging we always waited to see who contacted us but over the years have got braver and developed thicker skin..lol
I tend to do a search for single guys every now and again and add a few to our hotlist. Mr B then checks them out to see whether he thinks they sound ok or not.
Will then usually make first contact with them at some point....but it's always nice when you receive a mail from them, without them knowing they were on my list.  |

I read thier profile first and if it ticks boxes and there are no restraints like - "no Bi's" or "must have own mansion" or the most obvious one "age restriction"
Then i might message them/him/her - if they reply great if they deleat thats fine to - simples |

Yes! I enjoy hottie-hunting! Helps if they come into the chatroom so I can see their cams, but always check the local updates for new yummy pics, hotlist and watch...then pounce! |

I have no problems with getting in touch with people that I like
Im not one to sit around waiting for something good to come to me
Makes life a lot simpler to behonest and before all the comments come in about not having to look because of full inboxes,well thats the case for most couples and women on here but then again how many moan about the state of the messages they get? |

We always have to search and message others as here in Guernsey the swing scene is non existent, there are people that do it but its like everything, very limited and most stick with what they know.
When we are planning a trip to UK we always search and send emails to people as its the only way we can get a meet |

I go looking. Can't see the point in waiting for people to mail me. Wrong beans are rubbish.   |

Always better to get a message from a woman if they have taken time out from the over flowing inbox to message you. More likely to lead somewhere as well  |

I message guys, usually do a search for something I'm looking for or if I've seen good varis, or usually just a wink prompts a message, lol the men on here need a helping hand as they do get alot of crap and alot of them are genuine.
I know what I want so I look for it why wait for it to come to you x |
