"Why do you need to know what was said. It’s not like your going to read a bad one. If it’s to know their genuine surely even a stacked up amount of hidden ones would tell You that. "
I tend to ask if people are happy to share hidden veris with me, for me they are one of the most important thing when deciding if I want to meet someone or not |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Often there's no choice. The words disappear if the user closes the account.
People can show or not. Other people can use that as a filter or not. Or sometimes as a requirement ("must show recent verification from a meeting with people who look exactly like us" etc) |

"Always wonder why people keep them private when the person who's looking needs to look ?"
Why do they need to look? Veris are irrelevant. They are better hidden. |

Because they don't want to show them? Ultimately it is up to the person/people behind the profile to decide what they want to share with anyone reading their profile |

Is there an argument to make all documentary evidence of a meeting to be shown on a profile?
That could give prospective members a better insight to the person or persons they are communicating with? |

I don't believe there is, no.
The verifications would give you an insight into the person leaving them, and that's not who you want to be evaluating. |

I choose to make some of my verifications public - when I first joined, I found them useful to corroborate my sense of the person I was talking to (are they safe, reliable, etc).
Others do or don't display for any reason and none at all. And, as noted, when people leave the site their verification text disappears (although not in the summary - so if I'm verified by person A on two accounts, it looks like two people in my summary). |

Sometimes you can’t help it. I’ve met and been verified by people that have left the site - the summary still counts but the written verification goes, so it looks like it’s hidden…

How so?
It seems to me that all Fabsters are brilliant at everything concerning recreational sex as the verification system would have you believe.
I long to see a verification on the lines of
“Nice enough chap but was older more rotund and follically challenged than his pictures suggested. Hygiene was adequate but no more. Had little stamina and he was gone within the hour “ |

Occasionally you can read between the lines, which is quite amusing |

I am usually quite good at reading in between the lines but on fab everyone should not be passed by! |

It’s the people that write page long veris that I don’t get.
Things like:
I arrived, nice house, they said hi, we sat in lounge, we had wine, the football was on tv… etc
FFS - I only want to know if they’re actually real and friendly or not |

I think veris are a useful gauge of the person they met.
Some folks like to go into graphic descriptions and others remain quiet. Hiding them retains an air of mystery but adds nothing to what is known if the veried person. |

It's personal choice.
When you get one you'll be able allowed to make the choice whether to show it or not |

Well nobody leaves a bad one, and if they did no one would show it! I hide mine as a lot are from when I had a couples account. They're not relevant now, and it's all personal opinion anyways so what does it matter? |

Why do people hide verifications? I don't show one's that are too graphic as I don't like them. I display ones that I think are relevant to what's going on. For example I'm currently organising a social, so I'm displaying ones from people who have attended other socials, to show I have plenty of past experience. I will also display a small number of meets were I've played.
If I'm not meeting, I'll hide the majority of my veris and I can obviously choose which, if any to display at any time.
If I have a stalker or a jealous woman contacting men I've met, then I'll keep them all private. I've had this happen twice in the last 10 years.
So showing verifications is very much a personal decision depending on each individuals circumstances. |

We hide some of ours where they are graphic or mention sexual things that we won't do with everyone out are infrequent or were with ages outside out "looking for".
We had to do this after being pestered by people asking for meets based on messages saying that's "the verifications say you like this" and "you met other men my age" - sometimes it was just socially at a club. |

I display some social ones, that proves I exist.
If someone hides them, I think that’s their business why.
I reckon some don’t want other people to know who is meeting them, stops any possible behind the scene shinanighans. Top tip. |

"I think there relevant to tell real from fake I personally wouldn't go near someone who isn't verified could be anyone lol"
If they are verified then you're happy to meet them.
So then why do you need to read it?
I've met 2 guys who weren't verified and I was their first verification. They are lovely guys and would happily meet them again. Everyone starts somewhere. |

For what?"
We we're asked if we meet single men. A quick scan of out veris would tell you the answer. |

So how did you meet people in real life back in the day? I'm assuming if you met a woman in a bar you'd not ask her to email all her exes and show you their opinion of her? |

"I don't understand why people would leave a 'review' or would want to read them. Never understood it. Makes me feel a bit queezy "
Makes you 'feel queezy' to read someone is real because they met for a coffee? |

The... 'we shagged every which round and I came all over her tits and watched her husband lick it off'... style.
Baffling. |

The veri system is easily defeated so isn’t really any kind of indicator that anyone is anything. A couple near me have 5 profiles and frequently veri all 5 profiles and quite happily admit it |

But surely they would have been verified by someone else first to get their first one to then go on and do the rest. |

Some of mine I am unable to have public because they are no longer on the site, some are from when I joined so a little out of date, some I don't have public because I no longer want to meet that person again or in a maybe petty way if they are no longer showing my verification why should I show theirs I only have my most recent verification public at the moment for these reasons |

Because it's nobody's business is one reason we don't plus it keeps some of the hassle away ie; people messaging us'what was so and so like' which has happened and stops the gossip too, got no time for any of that nonsense. |

We display all our verifications, personally we think it builds a picture of who we are and the kind of people we like to meet or have met. The only ones that are not on display is where people have left the site. But saying that we wouldn’t want to display a verification with graphic details of the meet. Saying we’re genuine and they enjoyed our company will do just fine x |
