Feels like we’ve messaged all the single women around our area and had limited success haha
So we’re thinking about extending our reach a little though we’re curious, is it a waste of time?
Finding people down south or further north and then trying to plan a meet - means that it could take ages to meet and wouldn’t both parties get bored ?
So the question - what’s the longest distance you’ve gone to meet and was it worth it? X |

Personally I’ve traveled well over 150 miles for a meet, although that was an exceptional case involving a weekend stay.
As long as it’s within 3 hours drive I’ll have no issue travelling that far, longer if it’s to meet people I’ve got a long-standing rapport with |

"3 hours ?! As in round trip or 3 hours there, 3 hours back? X "
3 hours there, 3 hours back. I’ll generally get a hotel room in the vicinity though so it’s spread over 2 days.
It’s something I’m used to due to the out of the way nature of where I live |

I've had a few meets but not all are listed. I was on before and parties have left so verification is gone.
I've had more bother with locals than travelling up to an hour. Local gives vague directions as they have nosey neighbors so not giving house number or postcode. The area in mind has been totally redeveloped and it's a village suburb now. In pitch black looking for house just called off and put it down experience

We generally limit it to one hours traveling for either party. Char doesn't travel well so anything over an hour and she's not up to playing. We also, occasionally, have to cancel at short notice so wouldn't want someone getting two hours into a three hour trip and having to turn round. Similarly we wouldn't arrange anything where anyone has to book trains or hotels in advance.
Fuck cancer.

We are happy to travel, just need to book a hotel nearby and hopefully a nice meet or club. But in case the other couple have nerves or don’t materialise, we make sure that we have booked somewhere that we can then make it into a little city break if things don’t go to plan! |
