I must check locally to see if if there’s a revival, but I have my doubts.. Used to love going out to see if anyone was around and it was so exciting if I got lucky. |

It is usually prearranged for me these days, with friends I have met before. See my profile for etiquette if you plan on hanging around a doggers location. Be nice, be polite, behave as you would at a "normal meeting, this means gentle touching only with permission and please be freshly showered and smelling nice. Not after a days work and looking for it on the way home! For newbies some locations are on the web, they are usually avoided by those of us who actually go dogging. Have fun xx |

Brilliant advice thanks: DOGGING HINTS (for the uninitiated)
1. drive in, park up, turn off your lights. Sitting with your headlights on is considered rude and will put folk off. (that applies to directional driving lights too)
2.At night: interior light on - come and watch; window open come and talk to us; door open - come and join in.
3. If you want to attract attention flash side lights or hazards, make it obvious that it's a sign and not just knocking a switch.
4. Single guys approach and wait for a definite signal to come closer.
5. Be friendly and polite, we are all there for the same reason, if you are approached by someone your not interested in just smile and explain what your waiting for, most people take the hint. |

Char and I went for a try at a local spot one afternoon last week. Two minutes after getting out of the car, we heard four other doors open and close then we were followed at twenty yards by four guys.
Scared Char so much that she wanted to just leave. Her idea was that might find somewhere, play a bit and let someone join in when they found us. Didn't expect to be hounded straight away.
So we left after just ten minutes. Shame, as if they'd been a bit more subtle and less eager, then fun would have been had.

"It's never gone away it's just that folks don't talk about it in public forums for fear of the the old bill finding out "
It definitely went away from where I used to live, but agree that the more exclusive the better |

That’s rubbish!
Last thing any of us want is to be making it uncomfortable as it will become more sparse again |

it will never be the same as it was before the internet ...
the internet killed it as info was so easy to get then it was everywhere in the news papers ...police turning up .... far too many men turning up thinking easy shag ... people got pushy .... guys recording with smart phones and dash cams .... we started our move into swinging via the great couples who used to go there would be loads of couples and even ladies on there own in those days because every one looked after each other...
the reason dogging was so big was there were very few clubs back then now theres clubs everywhere so most of the couples stopped dogging... its got a bad name now in some areas with pushy guys car chasing and even following people home such a shame as it used to be a great laught

For it to make a comeback it needs people to actually go dogging.
Too many folk rely on others to arrange stuff that dogging doesn't really exist much these days.
The amount of messages we get asking for details of where we go, when etc etc is crazy. |

Big gathering last week up my way shame they’d put it on fan in the meets section about 30 blokes turned up so I’d hazard a guess and imagine the carpark will be full this weekend which will probably catch the attention of the houses nearby and they phone plod |

"Certainly seems to busier in areas local to us x"
Yeh there definitely seems to be a mixed response
Some areas busier than others
I definitely think it was was different before the internet as people would just rock up at certain locations and hope for the best
Now I tend to look at the local update section on here and keep an eye out for someone saying they’re calling a “x” lay-by etc
Hope it picks up everywhere |
