Seems 55 is max age for most here, is it?

I can only explain why ours is less than that, I (Mr) am 33, my mother has just turned 51, so for me it's a little bit out of my comfort zone knowing they would be the same age or slightly older than my parents.
Obviously in person at a club is different as I would never ask a lady her age, but in that case, ignorance is bliss. |

I can see and get that, its the reason i am not keen on meeting someone young enough to be your child or grandchild. I find that the age difference also affects maturity. Younger guys always say they are mature for their age but there is a big difference between 50+ maturity and 30+ maturity same as the difference between 20+ and 30+.
Maybe it is the lack of meets with genetic women who specify 55 maximum age that gets attention from the age group above that towards trans women. |

I have daughters of 56, 57 and 59 so meeting anyone under 60 is almost like meeting with my daughters, although I wouldn't turn anyone much younger down if the offer was there |

Ours is set to 60 but 99% of people over 50 we won’t consider because everyone ages differently, a 55yr old in great shape, nice salt and pepper hair/beard is great. But most guys on here are not that…
I’m not saying we’re in the absolute best shape but if a guy messages who looks like he’s had a crate of beer and a kebab every day for the last 30 years then no thanks.
Remember, George Clooney is 60 years old… so is Jeremy Clarkson… unfortunately on fab the older guys seem to be much more Clarkson than Clooney.
We have also had great fun with people in their 50s but they clearly looked after themselves. |

Well we didn't start swinging until I was 65 and my partner was 55 We are still going strong. We are not really interested in the under 55's.
The problem arises when the brain gives up not the body.

We always find that the guys over 50 who contact us aren’t in great shape. We’re 50 ourselves and obviously don’t look the same as we did 20 years ago but we make an effort to stay in shape and look our best. The guys that make an effort we will chat to or meet- especially if they looked like George Clooney! |

We’ve had great times with people in their 50s but as you say most don’t keep themselves in some sort of shape. Three quarters of people between 45-74 are overweight or obese according to government statistics so it’s going to be difficult to find people who have looked after themselves in that age group. So everyone thinks of the 55 year old with the big beer belly rather than the ones like George Clooney or Brad Pitt.

We have gone through the 50's but like others say here its your outlook and mind set that counts. Lets face it its the top two inches that rules the rest of the body.
Its good to remember that Honey never goes off remains sweet so sweet and sticky mmmmmm. Libertine is a way of life! Only regulators impose sell by dates we arent buy or selling so theirrules dont count lol   |
