I'd take them actually turning up. No gift needed.

a bottle of wine and some flowers for a couple. i have been told how few people do this. it just seems polite if someone is inviting you into their home. perhaps i’m just old fashioned

Of course not. Swinging isn't prostitution!

A proper gift? Nah, that’s a huge red flag to me

A bottle of wine or something? Sure. But an actual gift? Seems creepy

Alcohol if we are drinking together is fine.

Otherwise no. Just really weird.

Although saying that, if it's a regular meet then it probably wouldn't be so weird.

For a first meet, probably wine and flowers

The only time I wouldn’t think it weird is if it was something jokey that you had been chatting about, not a gift as such. But yes usually just alcohol.

We've never had anyone bring us anything, except one of our more regular guys brought sausages, bacon and eggs and cooked us breakfast!

We have had one guy say that ours was the very first meet he'd had where he'd actualy been offered a cuppa!

I’ve taken drinks if I knew the evening was going to consist of relaxing whilst having a few..

Profiles that stipulate you must bring ‘gifts’ to even be considered for a meet put me off.. Just another double standard SOME members think they can get away with being a certain gender

If I accepted a gift I would feel under obligation to them. I even buy my own drink in a bar

If they are regulars then I do sometimes bring wine and choclates or if we have been talking for a while. In the case of an off the cuff fuck n go then I am their gift..lol

I never ask for gifts or anything for that matter. Sometimes get wine, flowers, and vibrators. And have been treated to nice meals.

No.

Maybe a bottle of booze if we where going round to somebodies house. Or something silly but relevant if it were someone we knew.

I’ve been given flowers in the past.

Another time, he cooked lunch for us, which was a very nice gesture afterwards (and yummy too).

No we haven't it's a bit odd thing to do. We wouldn't expect anything if anything we would find it a bit off putting.

Can’t say that this has ever come up in conversation, and I’ve never seen any profiles either.

My socials are usually in a pub or coffee shop local to me in which case I’m happy to buy the drinks seen as the guy has usually made the effort to get to me.

Occasionally a guy might have gone home with an unexpected pair of my underwear though

Does good company and conversation count as a gift ? I think the flowers touch is a nice idea but could be a bit to much on a first meet however if you’ve been speaking for ages and have that connection it’s some I would do as a nice surprise for her x
