Defining BBW

So for all intents and purposes, I'd be classed as a BBW. I'm a larger lady who also happens to be quite tall, so big in all ways.

I'm quite content with being large but I'm not really comfortable with the BBW tag and I have no idea why.

Is it just me or do other larger ladies feel the same?

I’m not sure how I feel either tbh! But it’s a factual statement I guess.

Better than what I’ve heard in the past “you’d be perfect if you lost a couple of stone” lol

I think the thing that makes me uncomfortable is the second B. I mean I'm big yes so that's definitely factual, but beauty is subjective.

And having perved your pics I workshy class you as BBW at all and certainly don't need to lose a couple of stone!

I don't describe myself as a bbw. I'm a chunk and I make sure potential meets know that early as I know it's an issue for some.

I'm 5ft5 size 18-20

And just to prove my point about beauty being subjective, I've just received an unsolicited message telling me I should take down all my arse pics as they will put people off meeting me yet they are probably my most fabbed pics!

Can you find me….

I did not feel comfortable with the bbw tag when I was larger.

But get that some women do like….. but certainly not for me! X

I usually just say I'm a big gal who loves her food, if you think you handle that then game on,, I think our pictures show this but I always feel I need to make it clear too.. I guess in a way we feel the need to point out the obvious for some reason but bbw isn't a attractive word.

.

I don't like that tag in the slightest. I'm fat, working on it. Chubby if I'm feeling confident. BBW just doesn't suit me or sit right.

In a previous life I had Bbw in my name but I honestly got fed up of being asked if I was big enough (yep personally thought I was) and I found that some people fetishised it and tbh I didn’t like it.

So I came back this time without it but I’ve pictures up that show my size so people can make their own mind up

Im not a fan of the bbw thing either. Fine if people like it, but I feel it has a fetishist attachment with it. I'm not here to fullfill that fantasy for you.

Im fat, curvy, chunky, wobbly etc and I'm beautiful regardless of my size.

I actually tend to just ignore/delete messages that state BBW.

Personally I don’t mind…. Yes I’m big… but far from beautiful so bbw stands for big and bouncy woman in my world lol

I don’t like being called curvy… because I’m really not… I’m more barrelesque then Reubenesque

Apologies, I know the OP was asking the ladies, and viewing the comments from some it seems a mixed bag. Personally, I don't like to see a woman's bones poking out through the skin, and I like to feel all a woman's lumps and bumps, I've plenty of my own lol.

All ladies are beautiful in their own way either big or small

I think it's the fetishism that can be uncomfortable, knowing that some guys into BBW are not into you as a whole but just your big body, so claiming the BBW label could feel less about accepting your body and empowerment, but more about appealing to the fetishists. Rightly or wrongly.

I feel the same with the BBC label, it can be quite fetish based and some black guys will embrace it, others won't. I would and have quite happily fucked black guys I found attractive. But it wasn't just because they were black I found them attractive. Maybe a totally different argument but yeah it's an interesting topic

It's not a fetish for me, I just love caressing and exploring a woman with curves

This is something I hadn't really considered but makes perfect sense now I think about it.

Im a well upholstered gal and proud of my assets, tolerate the wobbly bits and enjoy the enhancements that lovely lingerie offers larger ladies. The term bbw is fine by me so long as people value the fact that it includes brains as well as big boobs and butt. Xx

To be fair, I hate labels of most kinds, whether it’s thin, fat, curvy, chunky, large, BBW or even SSBBW. We are who we are, lumps, bumps, big boobs, wee boobs, big asses or a flat arse like mine lol No one should be made to feel uncomfortable in their own skin, as long as you are happy who gives a fuck what anyone else thinks. Be confident and embrace it I say xx

A term that we like is "Plush"

When do you make it into the bbw category? Where is the line going from curvy to BBW I.e sizes etc? What's your opinions?
