In a sea of "hi" and "wanna fuck" messages, what messages do you read that make you go "damn, that's good!"?

And have you ever been convinced by an attached pic even if the message wasn't very good?

The messages that stand out for us from single guys tend to be those that have clearly read our profile first, have spent some time putting a message together and have ensured a reasonable level of spelling and grammar is present.

Oh, and not sending a cut-and-paste message that is sent to everyone. These are quite simple to spit after a while!

Reference something in the profile that you're attracted by too.

Do photos ever appeal? Yes they can - if tailored for our interests. The single guys we tend to look for are dominant and enjoy rope/impact play, so some experience demonstrated there would help. Again, it comes down to reading the profile first!

Hope this helps a little!

I leave the blocking to couples. Im no longer in the game so really not bothered.

Its the mental gymnastics from couples that offend me most. You have so much choice and can afford to be so very choosy and that is due to the numbers game. Spelling and grammar? Are you fucking people or employing them ?

Surely where you're contacting anyone on Fab, you want to present yourself in the best possible way, especially in an initial message.

The original question from the OP was essentially how to get your message to stand out, and for us this is a major aspect of it. It surely also holds true for any fab member messaging any other - not just for single guys who message couples.

This is a swingers site not a sex site. A lot of us like to meet up with like minded people and socialise too.

Those that think Fab is all about "fucking people" won't understand

We’ll always respond to a well thought out message regardless of attraction.

Simple one liners, graphic messages, only addressing one of us, dick pics, just get deleted.

The attraction has to be there or something in the profile or pics appeals, but I’d think that would be the same for everyone regardless of how many messages they receive.

unfortunately the majority of messages never get read anyway. The actual content is irrelevant. Spending time composing intelligent, unique messages is a thankless task.

Neither, we both understand people are different and may have reasons behind the short introduction, we have a no1 rule which never fails, that is if you can’t talk over the phone then how the hell will we be able to get naked together ?.

In your opinion. Plenty of people do fine on here and don’t spend their time moaning about it.

The only addressing one of us thing really annoys me, we are a couple we have a couples profile, it’s not difficult to address both of us. It also really bugs me when they just address E like I’m a piece of meat, instant block! - L xx

For me, I'm looking for someone who is polite and can string a few sentences together. Who doesn't speak in text language like "how r u" and knows how to use punctuation, like a question mark in the above.

Prove you've read my profile by not sending pics of your bits and by referencing something in my write up. Don't call me Babe or Sweetie. I don't know you, so I'm neither of those to you.

Don't tell me in detail, what you want to do to me. Don't copy and paste the message you send to everyone, especially if you sent it to me a while back and I said no. Sending it again won't get me to say yes.

Accusing me then . Im not moaning . Some couples really dont understand how this works. The numbers mismatch is what drives the dynamics of the site. This manifests itself in many ways. The messaging situation being one of them .

I have been involved in the swinging scene for a few years , as a couple with my ex gf. I have seen both sides . Seeing both sides really does chance your perspective on things.
