From the ongoing posts we think we have it now.
We have far too much experience, if there is such a thing, of single men with an MF profile and it is tiring and frustrating. We consider ourselves good at judging such things but not flawless. It can help in future if both of you communicate together and apart via the same account and state which you are at the time. Everyone writes differently and when one attempts to impersonate the other it shows far more easily than you'd think. We're not saying you did this though the other couple may have thought it and simply been upset, feeling that yet another single man was up to the usual tricks.
There's not much we've found you can do about it other than block them and take a note of their names. We play a version of minesweeper at clubs and socials avoiding the people we've blocked.

No you can't name & shame them just block & move on
Things like this are a daily occurance on here, them saying your not genuine has no substance, could they be hiding that they infact weren't genuine, who knows which is why the no naming rule is in place

There are a lot of couple profiles that are actually men so they’ve, wrongly, seen something in your messaging that made them think you are one of those.
It happens. You don’t know them so does their opinion really matter?

It’s annoying but not to the point where you change your whole profile to hilight it OP.
They were strangers, their opinion shouldn’t matter to you that much.
Put it down to experience and move on.
Your reaction to this could potentially put others off contacting you, it’s just not worth it.

Enough people have already said block them, allow yourself to calm and move on. It's all good advice though to be fair, We're not even sure you are here anymore as you haven't answered any of the questions they have been asking.

We had someone say we must be fake and just a guy as we weren’t available to meet within the next couple of weeks 
Just ignore and move on! It makes us angry and frustrated the life out of us but it’s a small price to pay for the amazing people that are on here  |
