He also had 2 women in his crew, Anne bonnie and Mary Reid who fought off a royal navy attack, while anchored after a huge booze up and he was too pissed up to fight, he was hanged but the two women pleaded of the belly, meaning they were pregnant by Calico Jack, so were let off from hanging. They both died a few years later from fever |
