What Should A Single Man Wear To A Meet?

Ladies, couples do you expect smart dressed in a shirt?

Or is a smart shirt ok? A tshirt? How about a vest? Or shorts? Be naked upon your arrival?

Men does it matter what a woman is wearing to a meet?

If people ask, does that mean they don’t know?

Look beyond the surface structure of the question, what’s the real meaning and answer?

I work in menswear and I deal with way more women than men for the simple reason most men ar completely useless at dressing themselves.

go modern or comfort fit then all chinos and shirts come in all fits. Go to propper menswear shops and they will make sure you look good leaving their shop. Their best form of advertising is making sure you look good.

no everyone needs a bit of help now and again. There is nothing wrong with asking for help.

Agreed with asking for help if you don’t know.

Problem is often you get help from people who don’t realise the last thing to discover water is fish.

Ah, we do think for ourselves except that what we think often fails to meet women’s expectations. So we play the game of trying to figure out your expectations by asking. If thinking doesn’t work and telepathy fails, what are we men to do?!

To most it'll sound very old fashioned and "menswear" will make many think of John Inman answering the phone in a deep voice!

Clean and smart works for me. I don't mind shirt or t-shirt if its ironed and fits well. I do dislike ripped jeans (i'm sorry i'm over 50 & always think i've thrown better away)....

For me its the confidence, not arrogance that a man brings to a meet.

Im all for "wear what you feel most comfortable in" i dont feel comfortable in trousers or suits, it isnt me and isnt my style. So i wouod wear what i feel comfortable but smart in which would be a nice pair of dark smart jeans, a nice smart polo top and a smart "going out" jumper top. And a pair of brown boot shoes. If someone doesnt like your style and wants something different, then they arent for you..

Its like saying i want a female to wear 4" heels as i find them "sexy and smart" yet she may not feel comfortable wearing them...

Guys, don’t dress to impress. Doing so usually means wearing something that you feel uncomfortable in. Plus, you’ll be constantly thinking; “are they impressed?” and that just brings on unneeded anxiety.

Instead, dress to feel confident. Who cares if they’re impressed? Don’t let another person dictate how worthy you are. If what you’re wearing makes you feel like a handsome bad ass, that confidence will shine out of you.

Feel empowered, don’t feel judged.
