Back waxing for MEN...

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

As my 'rear elevation' would look like the upper canopy of the rainforest if I didn't, I have my back waxed every four weeks, and have done now for the past five years. Before that, our hairdresser used to 'give it a No 1' every so often! Lol!

Just interested.. How many guys on here have it done, or have had it done and won't go back again 'cos it hurts' (wimps!)...

I'm contemplating having it done and have had it done before! Also contemplating a full leg, back and arms but leaving my hairy chest...

I have hairs on my body - but I would not say I'm excessively hairy. I would not consider having it waxed. Yes, I might be wimpish here - but to stop my body looking stupid with a half-and-half - I'd have to have the rest done.

No thanks.

I agree. Men are men, boys are boys. Men are hairy and women should just get used to it

I so agree! I dont mind some body hair on men but it is not attractive (to me) to come face to face with a gorilla. I reserve visits to the zoo when I have nothing else to do

I have no objection to that, so long as they aren't on the chin...

But how much time do you spend looking at a man's back anyway? While they are running away from your hot wax?

I like smoothish gorillas... just to qualify. They need not be hairless... but they need to be "accessible" where it matters and not have hairy backs...;-)

I have mine done and its actually quite nice!!,no where near as bad as some people make it out to be.But i could imagine some sensitive parts would hurt quite bad so i will stick to shaving there

I find waxing of any kind, on any area, hurts (well not hurt, but i am such a softie ) that i will only shave, and even then take care to soften and moisturise before hand...oh i am such a wimp

I have my back waxed every 5-6 weeks. I hate my hairs there but ok on my chest, legs, arms etc etc.... It's not that painful after the first few occasions, after all, for a deviant like myself, a little pain is always nice

Funny you should mention it but it's one of the things I like about having done - but don't tell Perky cos she'll want to start doing it for me and my 'waxer' is a nice bit of eye-candy - even if she ain't up for a play

Seriously though, the reason I first had my back trimmed was 30 years ago in Africa I nearly scratched myself stupid with the heat, sweat etc all over my back like 'prickly heat'. Even in the summer in the UK, it can get pretty uncomfortable wearing a shirt over all that hair, so me it's comfort first - body image second.

It has got much easier the more often I have done as the hair gradually gets finer - so I don't have to grip the bench quite so hard!

As for having ones 'crack' wxaed, I was told a very salutary tale by a nurse once about a guy who got 'a friend' to do it for him, but who clearly didn't do the job right as it lead to ingrowing hair folicles... He subsequently had to have a rather nasty operation which cut at the top and bottom of his bum crack to separate the hair roots out and had to lay on his face for nearly six weeks while the wound was repeatedly redressed..... not nice at all...

I always have my back waxed during the summer, however I tend to keep it for extra warmth in the winter.

Where would one go should one be interested in partaking in such an activity?

Personally I get my hair cut at the sort of barber's where they ask you if you'd like something for the weekend but would definitely frown upon me enquiring about getting my hairy back waxed.

Yeah I have it done ever so often, dosent hurt at all, almost enjoy it a little too much.

I had my chest done before and posted the video on youtube, funny as fcuk, that hurt like hell, the girl who did it didnt use tape, just used her fingers to grip it and rip it. It hurt that much I found it hysterical at times. Dont ask.

Hmmm.... wouldn't try the barbers then... The lady who does mine is a mobile beautician - it was her now ex-husband who asked if she would do it when he came round to put a light fitting up for me!! Lol!

From what I gather, most tanning/beauticians shops will do non-intimate waxing for men, but a cheaper option (certainly in my area) is someone who is mobile and runs their own small business. I pay £20 a time for mine (she's never put the price up in five years despite me badgering her). Give it a Google and you should find someone in your area.

I'm happy to say I very hairy front and back. I have no plans to wax, pluck, trim or anything else.

My lady loves me this way so that's how it will stay.

Yeah....if you enjoy looking and feeling like Chewbacca. Do you get haircuts??? Why in the world would you??? It's meant to be there, right? It's all about personal hygiene.

I have my back waxed - the first few times were really eye-watering but now it's a good indication of whether I still have a fat lower back or not as BY CHRIST it doesnt half sting there if its fat! Imagine the pain of a good old back-slap acrss your fatty bits

After that I trim my chest fur, shave me bits, job done. Then use the off-cuts to fill my matress

But post about bikini area waxing/shaving or hairy and you'll see loads of responses that suggest that those who have hairy bits are odd!

I can't shave my bits due to eczema. I can wax but react to a lot of them. So I either trim or have to find someone who uses the right wax and who can fit me in at the right time in my cycle and when I'm not away travelling for work.

So it's generally just trimmed. But there appears to be a bias against hairy marys with little consideration that it's about more than choice.

But.on the hairy back issue: I'm not a fan but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for a play meet, hygiene and attitude would have more.importance.

I wouldn't either... they'll just chase you round the room with a cut-throat razor saying 'now this won't hurt a bit'...

Ooooh please! Currently need a step ladder to reach the matress now, I sleep just about 8 inches off the ceiling its that stuffed

Oh and by the way, I dont blame you for getting memory foam - I'd give the matress some stick with Mrs Peky!

(well, you'd be surprised if a single fella DID'NT add that)
